Integrated weights are a game changer compared to belts. More compact, more comfortable, less gear to worry about between dives. There are slightly lighter-weight BCDs out there for travel, but this one travels well on the plane. Plenty of BCDs are much heavier. This is a good compromise between weight and price.

Great value for the money. Has plenty of d-rings for your stuff. Great integrated weight. One flaw: the zippered pockets open from the back and are essentially unreachable. Don’t count on them for anything primary.

This is a very comfortable BCD that, if not defective, appears pretty sturdy (my first one had pocket seams that were disintegrating after 9 dives; the replacement has had many more dives with no issue). It isn't super light, but it's not heavy either. It works well both at the surface and while under. The integrated weight system works well when one gets the hang of it. HOWEVER, as others have said, the zippered pockets are extremely difficult to use as-is. I added T-pulls and now have no trouble.

Great value. Travels pretty well. Took it to Greece and it worked great for wreck diving in the Aegean Sea. Others are lighter and have more features, but for the price its hard to beat.

I purchased mine in 2016 and continued to dive with it in fresh and salt. The integrated weight pockets are excellent! It is a very sturdy and comfortable rig. I only just recently ordered a backplate and wing as I try to move to technical diving. I do not care for the zippered pockets. As other reviews have pointed out, the zippers sip from front to back, and it is very difficult, if not impossible to use these pockets while diving. they had might as well not even be there in my opinion. I do wish there were more D-Ring's on this rig, or at least positioned differently - but all in all, this made for an excellent first BCD, and for the price (currently $349.95) it's hard to beat!

My wife and I are both cretrtified as Master Divers and I been diving for 30+ years. We just got back from during 10 dives in Roatan and the BCDs performed great. They fit great and the integrated weight system so much better than a weight belt. They also pack easy.

All is fine except for the pocket zippers, they are impossible, and I think a fatal design flaw. They zip from front to back, so the zipper sits at your back under your ribs. It's almost impossible to reach the zipper to open the pockets. You have to do some crazy chicken wing looking stretch to reach the zipper. Then, even if you can reach the zipper, you can't see it. You have to do the chicken wing and try to find it, which is almost impossible with gloves on. I bought two of these.m, one for my wife and one for my 11 year old daughter, sizes S and XS. It was impossible for my wife to reach the zipper and my daughter could only reach it if she wore the S, which was too big for her, since the XS fit her. I'm going to have to send them back since the pockets are useless.

This BC is awesome. Looks great and very comfortable. The oral inflation is a breeze to use and the integrated weights are very convient and are easy to operate. The only downside is that the tank strap is hard to adjust. Overall, awesome BC for recreational purposes.

I purchased this item because it seemed to be the best value for the money. All in all I like this BCD however there are 4 issues I had with this BCD. the first 2 that I really disliked: 1.) It doesn't work with a weight belt. Because this BCD has an integrated weight system, if you wear a weight belt, the extra length of thi BCD skirts over the weight belt and basically "sits" on it. Resulting in a odd feel and look. I really didn't like it at all, so i was kind of forced to use the integrated weight. Is that bad? Well, that's a matter of preference. I prefer my weight belt, these pokets aren't the easiest to insert (although I have seen MUCH worse, so their not bad relatiely speaking) I was able to squeeze 10lbs of bag weight in each integrated poket but that was a challenge. then I had a few extra Lbs in the pokets. This was while using a 7mm farmer john & hooded vest on an ice dive that required a lot of weight. Remember the more weight you put in the integrated pokets the less room you have in your zipper storage pockets. 2.) If I have to say there is something that I hate. It's that the pockets zip back to front. When you are underwater it is near impossible to find the zipper located behind your kidneys to open these pockets. And if your lucky enought to do that, good luck tryingn to close them. There is NO WAY you could see them so it's a blind activity, underwater, w/tiny zipper heads, and very difficult to reach. I must say. I hate this aspect of the BCD. 3.) The upper D-Rings are steel however, the lower D-Rings are used much more and they are plastic. It may just be the gear I use but with this BCD, the upper D-Rings are too high and the lower plastic D-Rings are too low. I wish tere were some in the middle like my old Genesis had. 4.) The upper air dump took me at least 10 dives to get used to it's location. I can't tell you why. It just never felt right to me, and you can't see it, so you need to just get used to it. Everything else I like about this BCD. Fits great. I love the handle at the top. Well constructed, should last a long time. I get more air trapped in it then my other BCDs so with this unit make sure you get used to the air dumps and don't rely on your hose valve.
