Questions & Answers

Joshua W : What temperature range are these gloves good for?THOMAS J : I have had a pair of these for a year. I have found that the insulating properties are not as good as I had hoped. One thing is that they are made a full size too small; meaning that you really have to pull that super-stretch material over your hands. That also means that little or no water finds its way inside to be warmed by the body. I was in water less than 60F, and I was disappointed in these gloves. But if you buy a size larger, you might have better luck.Steve S : These are available in 2.5mm, 3.5mm and 5mm. Depending on the temperature of the water will depend on the thickness you will want.STEVE G : Bought these gloves for the Caribbean and Kona Hawaii mainly to give some protection for my hands. Those water temps are in the hight seventy's and low 80 degrees F. I like em just fine.GARY M : Joshua, I'm really not sure about the temperature range, we use the gloves during a sockeye salmon egg take in Alaska (catching and checking salmon for ripeness) with air temps in the single digits and water temps just above freezing and had no complaints L8r GaryJOHN P : I used these in 45 degree water and hands were warm. Never tried them any colder.TODD K : They are super thin more like 1.5 mm thats why I like them, I use them for spearfishing In water temp 59 and up. They are super stretchy and can be worn in very warm water too.CHRISTOPHER J : I use them freediving in 50° F water on California's North Coast.
Shopper : Are these gloves very flexible? I would like to use them in artifact and sharktooth collecting. Also, what is a good rule for sizing? I wear a large wetsuit if that helps.LeisurePro S : Yes, these gloves are about as flexible as a dive glove can get, very stretchy. Sizing for gloves is always a little tricky. The rule of thumb is to order the size that corresponds to your wetsuit size (so a large) but if you feel you have particularly large or small hands, you can order up or down a size. You are also welcome to order several sizes and simply return the ones that don't fit.
Shopper : I looked and I looked and couldnt find the dimention. Is it 3mm, or 5mm or ...Please, cen you hellp me with this? Thank you. JitkaLeisurePro S : You can actually select the thickness of glove you want. If you click on the blue "Select size/type" tab, after you select your size, you can choose your thickness. These are available in 2.5mm, 3.5mm or 5mm.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?PETER W : Just thin enough but warm enough for use with hand tools and hardware install used in my Dock business . Tried a few these work the best!ERIK G : friend recommended, she loves her gloves.COLLIN K : Diving a 2/3mm under a 5/10mm wetsuit in water down to 52F and needed gloves so I wouldn't die. Sure wish I had a drysuit, LOL.JASON H : Replacing a pair of the exact same gloves that served me well for years before being lost. I have used these gloves in water as cold as 38 F and always been more than pleased with their performance. If anything they have kept me too hot in waters above 59!ERIC R : proven, stratchy, comfortableJOHN H : cheap and good brandFLY ( : good priceMICHAEL L : I found the 5mm gloves very easy to put on and take off as well as being very comfortable, with the warmer weather I wanted another pair but more for the warmer water conditions.BOBBY S : Needed gloves for early spring when water is still in the 60's. These work fine.JARED W : Great gloves with good grip. I can wear them in colder and warmer water.GUY K : CressiMARY C : flexible comfortable no strapsMIKHAIL K : I had them before and was very satisfied. Not durable but very flexible and warm. I'm going to keep buying them.ERIK H : Holes developing after fewer than six dives.EMERICH H : i liked the design especially for women very comfortable

Super stretchy warm gloves

These things are great. I don't know how long they will last, but they fit really good and are warm in chilly water.

Good pair of gloves

Pros: Inexpensive, very flexible so you do things with your hands; cons: does not seal well so too much water gets in (I added straps which make them much warmer). I would buy them again, but I wish they didn't let in so much water. I'm not a big fan of straps.

Great gloves

Needed a thinner glove then then the 7mils that I had. Easy on and off, and they offer much better dexterity.

The gloves are nice and the company is outstanding!

The gloves worked fine: precise fit, very soft and flexible with good feel. The stunning surprise was Leisure Pro. It was the first time I purchased from them and I was shocked that at each and every opportunity, they excelled. Prices equivalent to Amazon but no middle man. Customer Service second to none and reachable by both phone and e-mail (sadly now a rarity with most other e-tailers). Deliveries sooner than promised. To cap it off, a thank you note from their President. This is the best e-commerce company I've had the good fortune to encounter. They won my loyalty with diligence, value and honesty.

Good fit, leak like a seive

These gloves are comfortable, fit well and have good grip. However, the seams are really poorly glued and leak water where the fingers connect. Fortunately, I was able to fix it with some seal cement on the inside and outside, but I shouldn't need to do that with new gloves.

Finger Wear Out

Typically love Cressi stuff, but if you intend to use these in a rocky environment, be warned, the finger tips will wear out very quickly under moderate use. If you are in open water and using them just to stay warm, they will work fine.

Cheap but...

These are pretty cheap gloves both in price and quality but... I have to confess this is my second pair because they serve a purpose for me. I cut some of the fingers off so I have some protection but want to be able to use my fingers for things. I wouldn't think of cutting my Henderson gloves.

Good product, correct delivery

You need to buy a smaller size to do well. I usually use medium, I bought the small and I did very well.

Fell apart

Although these gloves provide good dexterity, they totally came apart after 20 dives. The Neoprene seperated from outer strech material and ripped apart.

Better than expected

I was looking for a 3mm pair of gloves. After chatting with one of the Leisure Pro gals who highly recommended this pair. I decided to give them a try since the price was almost half of what I would expect to pay for a great pair of 3mm gloves. And as a bonus these were actually 3.5mm I found them to FIT great. very flexible. If i had any complaint at all it would be that I have to work a little bit to get the fingers all the way down to my finger tips because they are stretchy and tight. A good tight I may add. but tight enough to work them down my fingers. I really like the rubberized grips that cover the entire glove also. Best pair of 3.5mm gloves I have owned thus far. (3rd pair)

Super-stretch has a nice feel, but...

Good thing this product is made of super-stretch. If it wasn't, I would never get it on my hand. Way...way too small. It even cuts off the circulation to my fingers. Also, the two smallest fingers are extremely long. Very uncomfortable. But it has a good construction. Even at this price, I would recommend something else.

Runs Small

Abrasion restant/grip coating on palm & fingers more of a grid pattern than a coating, & may not last. Decently made, otherwise, for the price. Runs at least 1/2 size small.

Comfortable

Used these gloves for an open water 68 F degree dive. The fit is great and they are easy to get on and off. My hands did get cold after about 30 minutes. The neoprene is really stretchy and comfortable. I enjoyed the added dexterity until a triggerfish bit my knuckle through them. The glove emerged from the incident completely unscathed, though. The only thing that I do not like about these gloves is that they stick to Velcro. Even the slightest touch will have your glove stuck pretty tightly.

EZ dive

I use dive gloves like work gloves and since it is the most likely piece of equiptment to get lost I look for the best value at the cheapest price. These gloves are nice and strechy so they feel good, and won't cramp your hands paddling a sea kayak. I bought the 3.5 mm but my micrometer measures the neoprene at 1.8 mm, the rest is the nylon covering that offers little insulation. Still for the price including free shipping they are a worthwhile purchase. Usem abusem then toss them

Finally Found the Right Glove

I've tried many different brands and styles of glove, and these Cressi gloves are the best by far. The 2.5mm work well in the 55 degree aquarium diving and open water, and I also purchased a 3.5mm pair for more extended dives. They are comfortable, durable, appropriately warm (depending on the thickness), and extremely easy to put on and take off. They also offer excellent dexterity.

Very comfortable glove

This glove is extremely comfortable and gives great grip. I'd read reviews that say it's not very durable but I've been diving these for several years (40 - 50 dives per year) and have had no problems. I probably wouldn't recommend it for serious wreck penetration. For normal diving feel it's a versatile and comfortable piece of dive gear. Recommended the glove to my significant other and he loves them too.

Love this glove

Extremely comfortable glove that provides warmth but still offers fingers plenty of flexibility and touch. Previously purchased the thinnest version and loved it. Once we started winter (that is Florida winter) diving bought the 3.5mm and love it as well. I've seen comments that the quality/durability isn't that great but have not yet experienced those problems. Have used these gloves in caves and wrecks and they're doing great.

Not for rough use

Was very disappointed with these gloves, as they only lasted through a few months of almost weekly diving. However, they were getting some hard use while spear fishing and catching lobsters. Probably fine for a season or two of easy recreational diving.

Good fitting but cheaply made.

It is a good glove. Nice fit and very stretchy. The key to good dive gloves it a nice tight fit. If you ware large gloves to work in then you will probley want Med's. I always order a size smaller for Neoprean because it stretches and gives a good fit. The quality is rather poor and the stitching is a joke with poorly glued seems. I live in Florida so will only use these maybe 20 times (3.5mm)It is worth it since they are so cheap I will get my use out of them then let them go. Not for long term or heave use. Not to be used near rocks or and rough surface. If they are not used beyond their limitations they will be fine.
