Questions & Answers

Shopper : I am a mens 9.5 shoe what size should i buy?CARL B : I wear a men's 10 and purchased a 10-11. Barefooted it's a bit loose. I usually jump in with them in my hand. But they feel good swimming.ROBERT M : They run a little large I wear a 9 which I ordered sent them back for 1 size smaller they fit great
Shopper : Hi my wife shoe size is a size 7. So is it safe to assume size 7/8 is the one to order for her ?NELSON R : Full foot fins are means to fit snugly on your foot. Therefore you don't want to use a straight size from what you normally wear. I wear a 10.5 mens shoe but wear an Cressi Reaction Pro size 8-9. If she wears a 7, I would buy the 5/5.5, definitely not the 7. Again, they are meant to fig snug to the foot.Mike T : Hi There, The fin size that is used as a reference is actually a UK mens size 7/8. So that converts to a ladies size 10.5/11. For a US ladies 7/8 i would order the 3.5/4LARS E : The reaction pro fins are very accommodating. Probably suitable for a full size shift in either directionBRANKO S : Yes I would say you Are Safe to go with a 7 if you will be in Warm water and wont need neoprene or 8 if socks will be worn. These are very comfortable I like mine very much.
Shopper : I wear a 10 to 10.5 mens shoe, d width. What would you recommend without a sock?NELSON R : I wear 10.5 mens show also. I recommend 8/9. I've had 3 pairs of these. Love them.Mike T : Hi There, I would recommend the size 8/9 SEWARD P : I've found that the reviews saying these fins run large is accurate. My foot is 8.5 wide (EE) and the 7/8 size fins fit me perfectly even with a thin neoprene sock. So, based on that, I would guess 8/9 for you. PS these are great fins.
deneb k : I wear a US women's size 9 but read a review saying they run large, and another buyer who bought a US women's size 9 ended with a 3.5/4. I'd say I'm a regular 9, what do you suggest?KEVIN F : They do run a little big. But also, the sizes listed are men's sizes. You can see the equivalent women's sizes on the size chart on the product page. You should be either a 5.5/6.5 or the 7/8 depending on width.
Tom P : Girlfriend wears size 11 shoe so which size fin in Cressi?Mike T : Hi Tom, I would recommend size 8/9SGT TRACY W : I wear a size 10 shoes and my fins are size 5-5 1/2MIRCEA S : I wear size 10 shoe ( man) and size L/XL Cressi Reaction Pro and will fit perfect with hard bottom boots. These are excellent fins.PETER M : 10-11CALVIN L : 9.5 maybe 10.

Not as happy as I thought I would be.

My first closed heeled fin. I prefer the open heel fin. I wear a size 12 and believe it or not in order for me to get a tight and comfortable fitting I had to use a size 11 NRS Arroyo wetshoe and threw in the fin retainer which wasn?t necessary but being cautious?I get more propulsion from my Cressi Pro Light fin insertion with a size 12 Mares Flex 5mm boot with a bungee strap or a 3mm Aqua lung soft rubber sole bootie when I enter the water. The Reaction fin was quite flexible unlike the rigid and with the same blade material polypropylene I notice with the Pro Light. This first for me closed heeled fin didn?t give me the imaginary dolphin movement I so much like from the use of open heel fins. I can think of a way to enjoy the Cressi Reaction Pro fin for a day?s outting using either the Nemo or Nomad surface air hookah. Yeah that would be great fun?.

Good quality, well packaged

I like that they’re black instead of blue! The quality is great. Only issue is that they’re too big for me— I’m a 6.5 in women’s and this was the smallest size. Should probably start looking in the kids section ha!

great fins

These are excellent fins. They're stiff and take a little work to walk in (if you're doing a giant stride) but for back rolls off a boat off a boat they're fine. As for diving - well these are fantastic. They have nice thrust and can definitely stand up to swimming in current. Makes doing a modified frog kick a lot less work. Even if you want to do regular fin kicks, they're great. Just fold down the heel and slide them on like a slipper.

Underwater rocket boosters! Great Fins for the advanced diver. Long, but not too long for any type of water sport.

Great Full foot fins

Purchased last year after previous fins foot pocket tore during dive trip. These are the fins that the resort used for rental gear, so I knew what I was getting. Not as easy to kick some of the split or hinged designs, but I know they are quicker and more powerful when you need it.

These Fins are a Work of Art

My daughter has to have everything color coordinated to have maximum impact as a fashion statement, even underwater. I, on the hand, am strictly interested in functionality, performance and design. We both couldn't be more satisfied with the Cressi lineup. Her new mask, snorkel and fins fit perfectly and perform beyond expectations and the bright yellow color match on all 3 items is perfect. I would also agree with those who say they run large. My daughter wears 8.5-9 woman's shoe. She ended up with the 3.5-4. Her foot is more on the thin side.

Best for Free diving or scuba diving

I bought these in the hope I could use them to either snorkel, free-dive, or scuba. They are excellent for diving and free diving, but are too much for snorkeling. Although you'll see these listed here when searching for a snorkeling fin, I would NOT recommend them for that. Cressi does not list them as a snorkeling blade. A softer, smaller blade requiring less effort and a higher kick cadence is better for snorkeling. I have a pair of Cressi Rondine Palau(closed foot) that I find are about perfect for snorkeling. I wear a size 9 shoe w/avg foot volume. The size 8/9 is a perfect fit, with or without a neo sock. If you are a size 8, you'll likely need a sock. For warm water diving, these fins are great. For free diving, these give both greater control and power vs. a snorkeling fin.

Excellent fin

I mostly dive in Massachusetts with an open-heel fin (Cressi Frogs), and I wanted a warm water full-foot fin for an upcoming trip to Grand Cayman. After reading all the reviews I went with these and I'm glad I did. I wound up using them for both diving and snorkeling and they were great for both. Light-weight, extremely comfortable, and still pretty efficient. I agree with other reviews in that the sizing runs very large. I wear a men's US9 EEE shoe so I initially ordered size 8-9. They were way too large so I exchanged for 7-8 (with excellent service from LeisurePro, as usual). The 7-8s were still surprisingly big and I wasn't sure they would stay on but they did. No blisters or sore points at all. I'm very happy with them.

Provides Powerful Propulsion

Used for both scuba and snorkeling. A huge improvement over my previous split-blade fins, providing significantly increaed thrust, powering me through the water. Found it easy to overtake and keep up with a large, fast turtle off Barbados at 80-feet, allowing some dramatic underwater photographs. Ensure you check sizing. I am a 9 1/2 shoe size and the medium 8-9 fit perfectly.

Comfortable fins

I try this fins, very flexible yet strong for kick. I like the material of the fin. And its look and color. (mine is Blue) Size is a bit trouble. I usually wear shoe, US size 7.5 and I bought US size 7-8. Well it is too big and I could put my thumb behind my heel. It was okay for swim with it a bit. But I would like to have snuggle fit and would buy one size smaller. Either I have exchange with smaller size but I don't want to lose much money on shipping and returning shipping. So I actually ordering fin socks from [@]. They sell $5.99 and if you make an order at the store, shipping will be free. It looks cheap so I can't tell for now but at least I could try without spending much money. I am still waiting for the socks and I may update later when I got the socks. I love design and spirit of Cressi I watched several video and pictures from Cressi Website. I would love to visit some retail shop. But Cincinnati, we don't have Cressi retailer. :( I had to try another pair of fins. I got Cressi Master Frog. It is much sturdy one and good thrust but I get more pressure on my ankles. I like the way of Reaction Pro's design that foot pockets under the fins. So it gets lesser pressure on my ankles and make it easy kick than Master Frog. Well I am a beginner for Scuba Diving. But I have been swim long enough to test these fins. So I know what my body likes better. Again, I search around good fins online. I bought Cressi because I like their simple and light design yet can make some strong kick. I would suggest to buy at the retail shop and make sure the size fits good. Online shopping can be cheaper but if the size doesn't match, it ends up spend more money on shipping and returning.

good fins

Its worth noting these are my first proper fins (as oppsoed to simple rubber jobs) and I am using them for snorkelling at this stage only. Firstly, these fins are sweet and feel quality. For snorkelling I found that they are not quite perfect due to the blade angle, that is it sits out of the water so you have to work quite hard to push the blade down through the water. I found this a bit tiring, something that my wife in her Tusa split fins has no problems with. BUT, when under water these are killer. Truly powerful and make swimming to the floor easy. As far as sizing is concerned, I assumed the size I bought was a US size, given these are Euro fins the sizing (eg 8/9)is probably a UK size so they are a touch larger than expected. Take this into consideration if you can't try them on! They feel a little heavy compared to other full foot fins, but no major biggie. All in all good fins, probably well suited to warm water diving, maybe just not perfect for snorkelling.

Good power from a moderate size fin

I wear a size 10.5 shoe and the 10-11 fin is a little large, there is about a fingers worth of space behind my foot.

Great Quality Fin

Great fin for dynamic apnea training. Super high quality molding. The foot pocket is very comfortable, even without socks or booties. Great choice for building strength and technique for a longer freediving-specific fin.

Nice Fins for Underwater Hockey

I've been using these fins for UWH and they work very well. They're not quite as big and stiff as the Quattro's, but provide more power than HP's and other snorkeling style fins. They feel a little odd the first time you use them because your toes are below the blade not on top. I got used to them after a few laps. They foot pockets are some of the most comfortable I've found. One significant point for UWH, it's not entirely clear if these fins are legal for tournaments. There is a small section of the blade (~1") that does not have a side rail and could be considered dangerous. Some refs say they're OK, others aren't sure.

Way too small

My foot size is 13. The largest size should fit, but they don't even come close. Also, there are two ridges on the top of the foot and those make the foot pocket even more uncomfortable. Never made it to the water with them. If your foot is large, these are not for you.

3 Blended Material

The three materials consist of a comfortable thermo-rubber (elastomer) anatomic, computer-designed foot pocket. The foot pocket encompasses the foot assuring transmission of the leg-to-fin thrust without loss of energy, adding efficiency to the fining action. The second material is the revolutionary new dual density (techno polymer) polypropylene which forms the blade, and in conjunction with the third silicone based material creates a channeling effect.
