STEFANO G : On the cressi website page about these fins it states they come with a removable insole to use without neoprene socks.  Is this the case? Thank you.DANIEL F : . no i bought about 4 pairs of these end it il just the fin but they are very conforteble en very good for the priceTheo K : You are right, these fins come with a plastic insole. This insole's purpose is to make the fin fit snuck, in case you are in-between sizes. (The sole fills up the small space that you might have in the footpocked in case the fin fits you slightly to big.) The neoprene socks can worn with or without the insole depending on the size. These socks obviously also need some space. If the fin is slightly too big it's probably either the socks or the insole since then there is not enough space fore both.... Cressi modulars sizing is made this way that Cressi expects you to wear socks. If you use The Gage modular in a pool or tropical climate, make sure you order one or two sizes smaller than your foot size is.So they fit well on a bare foot.G. W : Yes they do.
CHRISTOPHER P : I am confused by the sizing options on these fins. The selection option is 10/10.5 = 42/43. I thought 42/43 would equate to a 8/9 in US system. I am a 42 in EU measurements or an 8 in US. Can you confirm which size I need to order?Mario C : Thank you for your great question. Just spent some time with Cressi on the phone trying to understand the different shoe size conversion in their different models. The final conclusion on that call is to follow the European sizes. So therefore on that specific fin you would most likely need to 10/10.5 42/43.
JOHN N : What is the length of the blade and total length including the foot pocket?Christopher D : The blade dimensions are (L x W) 29.9" x 8.47" and the total fin length is 33.48" to 35.65" dependent on size
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?ALEX B : Im new on spearfishing, this looks like best choice for the money. May do an upgrade in the future.Lewis H : RecommendationRoger A : Black Friday price and promo. Reviews were good. We will see how they perform.

great fins

Amazing fins and very good service from leisurepro. I received them in 2 days to Canada. The only thing is they are made very large so take a smaller size even if you wear tick socks. Its unfortunate that they don't have the smaller sizes at all even if they do exist in 38-39.

Size and information mismatch

Sizing off, go with the US sizing not the EU sizing as asked in the questions. Otherwise seems like a good fin.

Great fins

I really like the fins. I want to love them but for some reason a part of my rail keeps coming off. Not the part that is clipped but it’s higher up the fin. Sometimes I’ll be swimming and I notice it completely has come off. It makes for possible damage for the clipped area. Aside from that I love my finds they feel smooth and I get a lot of use out of them.

My Cressi fin

Very good for spearfishing

New version of the Gara Modular made with the collaboration of the freediving champion Guillaume Nery. The fins are made with the high-modulus propylene blade (2500 Mpa). It has lifelong warranty and highly elastic return. It incorporates two little anti-skid spoilers on the blade end. The decreasing thickness of the blade from 4mm to 2mm provides a highly progressive design that eliminates the skid tendency, due to the first half of the blade set being rigid, and the final half is more flexible.

The foot pocket's volume has been revised after aggressive anatomic studies, in such a way as the volume is proportional to the widening effect that the foot causes depending on the foot size. It doesn't follow a fixed proportion size by size because proportionally a small foot fattens" more than a big foot when putting the foot in the foot pocket. The foot pocket combines two materials, a thermoplastic rubber with high hardness (shore 90), flexible but not elastic and is resistant, to the whole foot pocket's sole and the exclusive strap over the instep aimed to make the effort transmission to be immediate without dissipation in rubbery compositions. The middle of the instep incorporates a band of 2 cm of amplitude self-adjusting", that allows a slight expansion (between 2 and 4mm according to size) to adapt to people with high instep or if you want to use thick neoprene socks. The expansion has been meticulously adjusted not to be detrimental to the energy transmission. The hardness level of the blade is LD: soft for divers of reduced size and/or that do long movements and medium depth diving. Fin has an interchangeable blade and is available in multiple sizes.
