I Love this thing! i had tried several locations to mount this but ended up on my shoulder strap. I had to cut an anchor line and was shocked when this thing went through it like butter. Do be careful when using this though it is absolutely razor sharp. That was the reason i bought this tool though was i needed an all in one tool that would do what i needed when i needed it so Mission successful !

I was excited with this purchase but then dove with it. It would fall out of the holster to the extent that I needed to tether it to my BCD. Then we went to Bali to dive and upon our return they entire thing is rusted. So disappointed.

The story I am going to tell you about this lovely knife is unbelievable. I still cannot believe it myself. I bought the knife 3 years ago. It looked great. Small and fitted neatly on my BCD hose. Scissors worked flawlessly. Everything was perfect... before I went in the water. So the story goes - it has rusted. Can you believe that? I couldn't! How can you possibly design, produce, market and sell, not cheap, something that is completely useless. What would be the first idea of a diving gear? You go diving with it, right? In the water. In the salt water. All over the world. And it is supposed to work flawlessly, like all your other diving gear, because your life depends on it, right? Well, you cannot rely on this piece of gear, because apparently CRESSI, do not know that you are going to put this knife in water, so they produced it out of staining, not stainless steel. That's right - it got rusty on the first season - huge amount of rust. And I only dived a few times. Well in the first season - it just looked really ugly. But since this particular piece of equipment has a moving part - you can imagine how it works, after it got rusty - well it does not. So the scissors is no longer moving - so you do not have scissors anymore. And the rust got so much and bad that it is all over the cutting edges as well, so the knife no longer cuts. Well - imagine you did not take it out to check it. You get in a situation tangled in ropes - fishing net etc. You pull out you lovely Cressi knife, but nope - no scissors and the edge is blunt. Lovely - you die down there, because Cressi decided to spare little money on the stainless steel grade they use. I am completely disappointed. This is criminal.

Razor sharp, combo of both scissors and knife very handy. Has held up very well thru multiple dives with only trivial corrosion. Only negative factor is that they require excessive effort and a bit of a twist to remove them from the plastic holder. I had to practice a bit after I got them to get the motion right.

It's a really useful scissor/knife very sharp, but in a few dives already have some corrosion...

I have installed it on my LP hose that connects to my BC and it works really great. It is easy to unlock and put back with one hand and the knife stays locked even with hard movements. I am even using it to make sounds with the tank to gain attention underwater. I think this is one of the tools every serious diver must have!
