Reducing core thickness as you move from the bindings out toward the tip and tail allows for a smoother transition in and out of your turns.

The Connelly Slalom Concept Water Ski has closed cell polyurethane resin core and a performance glass flex sequence design. Ski has a polished speed base, double tunnel and a slider fin with foil. Ski is available in two lengths depending on the rider's weight class. The 64" (162cm) model is designed for skiers weighing less than 140 lbs. (63.5 kg) and has a binding location of 29.25" (74.3cm), and the 68" (167cm) model is designed for skiers weighing over 180 lbs. (81.65 kg) and has a binding location of 31.375" (79.7cm). The skies recommended tow speeds are 30 mph, 32 mph to 34 mph (48.3 kph, 51.5 kph to 54.7 kph).
