I have always used this line. 8lb XL Smooth Casting in fact. On my journey to find something a tad less stretchier. I just found my self coming back to using the same line, just as 12lb XL Smooth Casting. You cannot beat this mono. It does whatever you need it to - Just don't wait too long like me to size up or down based on the game you're going for. I mainly bass fish and use the Low Vis Green.
