I love these. No more fiddling with loosing/tightening straps. Just simply put your foot in the fin and slip it over your heel. I wear a size 11 boot, and I got the size Large for my Oceanic Viper 2 fins. If you do somehow manage to break the buckle, you can always keep your old fin straps in your save a dive kit.

I bought these to replace the straps on a used pair of mares avanti x3 fins. Super easy to install. I got size small for my size small fins, fits perfect with 5mm boots on, but may be too big for small feet or thinner boots.

Hope these will be a good backup to my existing spring straps. Never leave home without a backup, especially if you travel to a lot of foreign areas.

Wish I had bought these a long time ago. I wear a size 10 3mm boot and the medium worked great

First fins purchased years ago. On the fence with upgrading to newer and fancier fins. These spring straps replaced the rubber straps perfectly and breathe new life into the old fins. Worked well on recent dives. For a men's size 9 rock boot and size large JetSport fin, a medium spring strap fit perfect. For a men's size 11 rock boot, large JetSport fin, a large spring strap fit perfect.

I would highly recommend spring straps. They are so much easier to get on and off. Very durable. They were just a little less snug than another brand I have (of the same size), so if you're not sure on size I'd go with the smaller size you're considering.

If you are lucky enough to need just the size these come in for you own foot and fin, they are a nice strap, with a nice big pull handle, with just the right amount of pull. I use with the attached boots on my dry suit with a large open heel fin and it works ok.

The straps are the most comfortable idea in years. I really like them. Deciding the size is a challenge but I guessed right. With my original straps I had a lot of cramps in my arches. With these I am yet to have on. I don't know if the are the reason but it seems that way.

i would recommend two sizes smaller to be snug with your fins

Replaced the straps on our Mares xtream fins with these. Easy on and of with no adjustment required. I keep the original straps in my save a dive kit in case these fail. Had them for 2 years with no problems.

These fit my New oceanic fins. Easy on and easy off. Stay on tight. So much simpler than the straps. I look every year for the holiday discounts and get a pair.

Im a size 8 so I thought small would fit for sure but unfortunately it's way too big !! I would have to be at least a 10 to fit in those straps... Should have a size chart of something like that cauz I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who faced this problem!! However, except for the sizing they seem to be good quality strap, easy to use etc

First off let me say I picked this item up on sale. The only thing I dislike about it is that the rubber puller slides to one side of the spring. This for me is a minor inconvenience, but one indeed. So I am glad I didn't pay full price on it. Otherwise, it is good product and that is why I gave it three stars.

Great product..Just measure the strap you need these things tend to run on the large side..

After switching over to them, it made getting my fins off a lot easy than using the rubber strap that came with the fins.

Buckle design is not compatible with scuba pro full foot split fins. My oceanic Vipre fine are a perfect fit. Removing fins are a breeze while boarding boat

Ordered a size S for wife, it is way too big. Tried it on another fin that is smaller, and it still too big. Now I tried it for myself on a fit that just fits (I would be size M) and another one that runs a bit small, and the size S spring is still too large. The only way I could salvage this is to make it even smaller by cutting the spring, bending the ends and refitting them back.

Great Spring Straps
By David S.
Great to carry in your safe a dive kit.
The Blue Reef Spring Straps are a great accessory for any brand open-heel Scuba fins. A definite upgrade to standard straps, Spring straps do not need to be adjusted for size and easily slip over the heel-securely when donning/doffing. Guaranteed to make putting on and taking off your fins easier and include rubber grip puller. The rubber puller provides a cushion between the spring and the diver's heel. It also provides a large grip to aid in pulling fin straps on-and-off.
The Blue Reef Ultra Spring Strap utilize squeeze style quick-release buckle mechanisms. Easy to use spring straps automatically compensates for different size-feet and boots. The Blue Reef Spring Straps are depth compensating because they will compress to changes in the thickness of your boots. No need to adjust fins at depth, and when you ascend your straps will automatically compensate for the increase of boot thickness. The spring straps are manufactured from durable, corrosion resistant stainless-steel coil springs that will not rust or break and are available in multiple sizes and fit most all fins with a stud style attachment point for the buckle (see size and compatibility below).
