Questions & Answers

Jane F : The photo makes the large look teal colored but they say green. Which is it closest to?Mario C : very green : )LARRY MICHAEL L : GreenDonald S : my bag was greenABILIO M : My bag is greenMICHAEL B : green
Michae Z : Is there a way to clip this to a BCD? I want small catch bag to collect scallops in while diving.TRAVIS H : You could possibly use the drawstring? Nothing else on the bag like a loop or handle..LARRY MICHAEL L : I think it would be clumsy/cumbersome. I would think one with a metal hoop & handles with closure would be far better. Something like this one: https://www.leisurepro.com/p-blrgba/abalone-collection-mesh-bag?origterm=abalone+collection+mesh+bag&searchredirect=trueLINDA C : You could use a carabiner on the drawstring, but that results in a dangling bag. I would suggest putting a cable tie through several of the holes right below the string and clipping the loop of the cable tie to a carabiner. That way the bag won’t dangle too far and you can easily open it for your catch.CHAD H : Pull the bag through the loop of the drawstring and pull to secure to a D-ring or a BCD strap. Or buy a carabiner?!?!?!?!
Shopper : yeah, so I'm a little lazy. I need a mesh bag for my swim equipment and I don't know which size to get (because i don't feel like measuring it myself). All I need to fit is my fins (short), kickboard (adult size), and my pull buoy. Any suggestions?Donald R : Green is too big for you. Easily fits two sets of fins mask and snorkel or a full set of scuba gear. Go down a size.WILLIAM D : large definitely!William P : this reply is from Cynthia. I purchased this item for my entire family. Each of us has our own bag. In it, goes our full size fins (probably similar in size to an adult kickboard), mask, snorkle, I purchased the oversize bag because I didn't want to wonder if all our stuff would fit. Because it is mesh, it's so light weight that it really didn't matter. I also put other items such as sunscreen, swim shirt, rolled up towel. It's a great item. Durable nylon and it has not come undone at any of the seams or anything. We have had this item since 2009. I would recommend this item for purchase without a second thought. Measuring your items will help you determine what size you would need. Hope this helps.ANNE G : I would go with the 18x30 bag. I believe that is the yellow one.
Shopper : How big is this bag?LeisurePro S : When you click on the "select size/color" button on the product page it will display the available sizes from 10x15 to 24x36.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?JONATHAN H : For group rinse tubs so my gear stays together.MONICA F : To pick up garbage while underwater and to hold hoses and respirator while traveling.JOHN M : I need a dive bag for a trip to SocorroCHARLES W : Easy storage of weightsJames Z : Simple, for shellingB M : Hoping to use for ScallopingThomas M : size & priceRENN N : quality bag strong for all purposesALEX H : Mistake. Good gear bag for organizing

I have one of these I purchased a few years ago and it's still holding up just fine. I bought the red one to help organize gear in my larger dive bag. It's great for putting the smaller accessories like scissors, surface marker and reel, slate, dive knife, rattle, bottle of anti-fog, etc. It sure makes it easier to find those items in a large dive bag when they're in the smaller mesh bag. It also makes for a convenient dunk bag for those same items after a dive. I like mine so much I purchased two more as gifts.

Works

Seems well made. Does what it is supposed too. Green size easily accommodates a full set of gear. Packs fairly small. We used them on a trip as boat bags. Expect they will last for years.

Rugged & well made

I bought this bag because I have a couple in different sizes and was happy with them. I bought the Biggest one (green) to take on a snorkeling trip with my wife. I wanted something that could carry both of our equipment and that I could take into the water with me. This fit the bill. It's flexible yet rugged.

I use the bag to hold small gear in my equipment bag and then take it with me diving or snorkeling to hold treeasures and trash that I find along the way.

Satisfied Customer

Would be even better if, instead of the standard drawstring, it had a rubber/silicone cinch attached to it that create a wrap-around closure.

BIG!!!

Plenty large for a boat bag, holds all but the BC with ease. 1/2 the price of the dive store. If there has a pouch or small bag that would be cake!

Good quality solid mesh bag

Good quality mesh back. Tough as old leather boots. I prefer the "loose" style of bag to framed bags, so this is perfect for me. You have to wash it first before you put dive gear in it though - it is that rigid!

Good bag

Great

By CLAY W.

Great bag, doubles as a gear and scallop bag.

Looking for a simple yet functional mesh bag, look no further. The Drawstring Mesh Bag is a top-quality soft nylon mesh that makes it easy to fold and stow, yet durable for long life. Mesh bag has drawstring with ABS non-corrosive plastic barrel lock slide closure to secure what you put in the bag and comes in multiple colors and sizes. 3-handy sizes to choose from: Small red 15 x 20" (38 x 51cm), medium yellow 18 x 30" (46.7 x 76cm) and large green 24 x 36" (61 x 91.5cm)

Great thing about a mesh bag is that when you get to the wash tank on the dock after a day of diving you can submerge the entire bag in the tank and rinse you gear while still in the bag. This feature also allows you to bring your travel gear bag when security is an issue and once you arrive at your diving destination you can transfer you gear to the mesh bag and use it instead of getting the travel bag wet.
