Surely it's not the length of the entire clip?ROBERTO P : It refers to the diameter of the hole from which the body of the bolt snap comes out, the larger one of 1 1/4 "can be worn with gloves, in sidemount the diver passes through that hole the ring finger to hold the bolt snap while with the other fingers of the hand unhook, guide and hook the snap bolt on a D ring again.

Best made swivels

Best swivels as marine grade and great for saltwater diving. Just make sure after a dive, rinse in fresh water and toggle the switch to clean the inside spring.

Well made, trouble free

I have several of these in use. The machining is smooth. The spring has the right amount of tension making the slide stay in place w/out requiring a lot of pressure to open. The groove in the top (or bottom?) of the slide allows the line I use to stick in there a bit which makes the bolt snap even more secure. I don't rely on that to be the method of securing the bolt snap, but the added friction is useful. These are good bolt snaps. I have ordered more and am happy with their performance.

it's a bolt snap, not a tux.

it does what it is supposed to. it's robust, made well, easy to work with gloved hands. great for stage bottles.

High quality for a great price

Solid built, one hand operation. The design makes it easy to use with thick dive gloves. (Some clips are difficult to use with thick gloves.) The swivel is large and works well. Ideal for clipping off gear. Could pay a lot more for a stainless clip of this quality makes it a great value.

Made my own lanyards from paracord and attach to D-rings on my BCD, for carrying accessories. Very good quality. I got several of the 1" model and the closed ring that attaches to your lanyard is much larger (compared to the clip side) than what is shown in the photo - it's about 1.5" in diameter, total. Doesn't pose a problem for me but I thought I'd mention it.
