Shopper : what materials is this craft made of?DAVID J : I don’t know the actual material but The is a very heavy duty material like a paddle board is made of… I can tell you that if you are looking for a little fluffy one to just play with it’s not the one. This is a legit inflatable kayak and is ready for some adventure stuff. It’s a little on the heavy side but not bad and feels solid when inflated.jodi W : I am not sure of the exact material but the bottom is a rubber type (but not super soft) material and the top half is a fabric that is extremely durable. We expect to have this kayak a very long time. We are mainly using it for cruising around a lake. Well worth the money as the set up and break down is super easy too!MIKE B : Rip stop nylon top. PVC coated tarpaulin hull. It’s durable, it does gouge on sharp rocks and barnacles.

I was a bit hesitant, fearing two things: - punctures, as we like going on shallow rivers and springs with rocks, stumps etc. - drag, as this is something that kept coming back in the reviews I was reading about i floatable kayaks in general (not one this one particularly). It's been 3-4 times now and I am very impressed by the sturdiness and manoeuvrability of this kayak. To me, this kayak is to the level of the typical kayak you find for rent, if not better, with the added bonus that it is much more comfortable. The setup is fast and easy. Make sure you get a reversible pump, makes it faster to deflate it. Worth every penny.

Great so far!

We have only a used are kayak once so far but it worked great. Navigated well in the water. Biggest issue was making sure it was dried out well before storage since we had read reviews about that. When we used it we let five grandchildren take turns so we feel that added to the water inside which won't be much of an issue when just the two of us use it. Looking forward to using it more in the next week as we are headed up North with it.

Advanced Element Kayak is spacious for two!

Great kayak for one or two! Easy set up, tracks well and very sturdy and would be hard to tip on calm waters. Purchased for our 13 year old son and wanted something that would last with easy set up and it has both qualities. Storage bag can be carried by one person but easier with two. Well made and we couldn’t be happier with our purchase!

Great family Kayak just concern about the quality

we like the kayak it takes a little bit of time to inflate all the chambers. Only we have used 3 times in a lake and the last time we found the scratch underneath, hopefully it will be ok, we'll see Customer service support
