I actually have the T2 Titanium sealed regulator, the predecessor to the T3. I have owned it for over 20 years and it is flawless! Has never needed any repair (other than scheduled maintenance). It works and breathes as well today, approx. 500 dives later, as the day I bought it. The second stage swivel really makes the regulator comfortable in your mouth. Breathes great vertical, horizontal, or even upside down! I'm glad to see the T3 still comes with the heavy duty regulator bag, I would have thought they would have cancelled that by now to save a few bucks. If you want a regulator that will last your lifetime, THIS IS IT.

I purchased this regulator about four years ago. I have one hundred and twenty two dives on it so far. The regulator breaths jut as easy at 130 feet as it does at thirty feet. The flexible movable connection to the stage two is very comfortable. One of the best features is the titanium components light weight. We do a lot of traveling. The airlines are very restrictive on weight allowances. The light weight regulator is extremely helpful. The fact that the regulator only needs to be overhauled every three years is great. I had to send my regulator back to the factory for its three year overhaul. The factory service was not up to par. My regulator went into service in perfect working condition. They returned it with the octopus completely free flowing. The octopus was adjusted so badly that the air coming of of the octopus sounded like you just opened the valve on a scuba tank. I had to mail the unit back for them to repair their overhaul.

I can't see anything that is substantially different here from the Atomic titanium reg I have been using for the last 20 years. That probably is a good testimony to its engineering. Of course, there is the substantial increase in price. I got mine from a previous owner who used it only once. For several years, I sent it back to the factory and paid for service--good service--and that is my point in this review. An individual cannot get that service since Huish bought Atomic from the original owners. They don't even return your calls and emails. I am not sure what Leisure Pro can get you during the warranty period, but you should check that out. More important, you should find someone you trust who is Atomic certified and to deal with the company in the post warranty years if something goes wrong. That is not as easy as it sounds because this is such an expensive beast that there are not a lot of good techs around with experience. Probably if you are not paying twice a normal service cost, you have not found that good tech. My reg has been screwed up more than once by someone who said they were Atomic certified.

Amazing products but a very unresponsive customer service team. The Air flows effortless. I feel very comfortable with there products I have the BC1 and 2 I also have the T3 and T2.

Damn, it's expensive! But it is, with a margin, the best performer I have been breathing from. The precision it delivers gas makes me forget about this relative costs related downside. I am a bin fan of the regulators that give just that amount of gas you ask for with the least effort. Not more, not less. And this is the one. Initially I bought this reg because I can save a pound on weight compared to my old Apex. That matters too.

Sure, it's great, but is it worth 3 or 4 times the cost of other perfectly well performing regs? That's up to you to decide. As much as I like it, If I could go back I wouldn't buy it. I like the swivel on the first stage but swivel on the 2nd stage doesn't help me too much. Would just buy a cheaper regulator with a right angle connector. I'm gonna use it for 5 years at which time I think the cost becomes justified, but right now it hurts.

I was diving an Atomic B2 prior to purchasing the T3. Make no mistake the Atomic B2 is an awesome regulator, but after I made Instructor I wanted to treat myself to the top of the line if you will.... The Atomic T3 is by far the absolute best I've ever used, and I've used many on my way up through the certifications. It breathes like nothing I've used before , light weight very comfortable , it's an extremely well made piece of equipment . Yes, it is expensive, but once you own one you'll see where that money went. It reminds me of a finely made watch.... Beautiful, awesome performance. Charlie at leisure pro sold me this regulator (he's the one I deal with all of the time) all the reps at leisure pro are very knowledgable, but I've been dealing with Charlie for years. I highly recommend this regulator. My Italian grandmother used to say in Italian " spend freely rest comfortably" God rest her soul. I love this regulator, and I just can't sing its praises enough. Thank you Charlie ! Lbrrt PADI Pro diver

These are exciting . Once you get over the shock that you have just spent almost 2G on a reg set you'll probably have sleepless nights waiting for this to arrive. When it does, sit down and savor the moment. You have entered the zone of diving madness. These are crazy cool ! Not much to look at for the price, but well worth it. Lightweight, non-corrosive, dry breathing, funky swivel port configuration, single air control knob, yeah you get the idea, Go for it....

Lightweight , dry breathing second stage. Superior quality. Expensive but worth it. Hard to imagine anyone or even AA coming out with a better reg system.

My wife and I own a T2x and a ST1 for for 2 years, both excellent regs. Purchased the T3 so I can lighten up our travel set up. I dive cold water near home and dedicated the ST1 for home. All three of the regs breathe the same, which is excellent. Titanium has the advantage for the traveling diver where every pound counts. We carry our regulator, computer, mask and snorkel on with us and check everything else. After lugging the regulator bag around for a day and sometimes more of traveling, you will appreciate the lighter weight. Not to mention locations that have no gear lockers and a couple flights of stairs back up to your room. In reality, its a lot of money for the loss pound but if you figure in the labor savings for your annual service being extended to 3 years you will recoup that cost pretty quickly.

The T3 forges a new titanium standard as the absolute finest regulator you can own, regardless of price. The T3 is Atomic Aquatics signature regulator, providing you unprecedented reliability and performance. Amazing light-weight and dependable materials makes it the perfect choice for travel. You'll dive confidently in exotic locations, where service is hard to find. Atomic Aquatics was the first to design and manufacture an all titanium diving regulator. This exotic metal was chosen for its absolute corrosion resistance in ocean water, its strength, and its amazing light weight.
The T3 first stage has the features you have come accustomed to in an Atomic Aquatics regulator design. The T3 is a balanced flow-thru piston design using Atomic Aquatics jet seat high flow monel piston. Exclusive high-pressure piston seal system is self-lubricating for low friction and low maintenance. The Atomic Aquatics jet seat system has no sharp edges that can damage the seat over time, like most competitors' first stages. Instead, Atomic Aquatics employs a conical seat and blunt end piston. Atomic Aquatics' valve seats are precision machined from an extremely strong aerospace specification seat material. This design combination is the most reliable seat system in the industry and enables the seat to go 3-years or 300 dives without service. Diving performance is superior at even low tank pressure.
The T3 is also freeze protected with a factory sealed first stage that also prevents contamination such as silt and sand entering the mechanism. The regulator is Nitrox ready for mixtures up to 40% out-of-the-box. The first-stage has 2 high-pressure (HP) 7/16" and 5 low-pressure (LP) 3/8" ports. The LP ports are on a swivel turret for ease of hose routing.
The T3 second-stage is a balanced linear flow design for extremely easy breathing at all depths and dive conditions. Like the first-stage the T3 second-stage is built-to-last with a titanium demand valve body, lever and sealing orifice. The diaphragm is made from high quality silicone rubber. This pneumatically-balanced poppet second-stage has Atomic Aquatics patented seat saving dynamic orifice which unlike most second-stage orifices is a floating valve design which reduces wear on the second-stage poppet seat when the regulator is not pressurized adding life to this important seal.
The T3 second-stage regulator is equipped with Atomic Aquatics patented automatic flow control (AFC). This unique diaphragm activated vain automatically controls the flow and venturi-effect of the second-stage for optimum breathing resistance at all depths. The second-stage does have a soft over molded rapid adjustment knob for rare special situations. If you have ever experience the pulling effect" of the regulator second-stage when you turn your head underwater, those days are gone with Atomic Aquatics all titanium comfort swivel with a black PVD coating. Perhaps one of the most admired features of Atomic Aquatics second stages is the patented comfort swivel which allows 30 Degree rotational movement without binding or kinking.
The T3 has a new high-flow second stage case and magnum lever design that significantly lowers breathing effort at any depth from shallow water to beyond the limits. A dual material second stage cover enables entire front to be used for purging and a dual silicone comfort fit mouthpiece with tear resistant bite tabs. The T3 has a metal accented front cover ring. The regulator comes equipped with a 3/8" threaded 32" (81.3cm) low pressure hose, weighs 1.6 lbs. (734 g) and comes with an owner's manual and travel bag.
The regulator and instruments are the heart of your life support system for diving. Want maximum protection for your regulator set-up, maybe with long hose, dive computer, and other instruments? Don't skimp on protection, use the Atomic Aquatics Padded Regulator Bag. Keep your regulators and expensive equipment separate from the rest of the gear. This bag is large enough to hold regulator, gauges, and an octopus. Fully padded bag measures 16.5" x 11.5" x 5" (42cm x 29cm x 13cm) with a volume of 1,129 cubic inches (18.5 liters) and is made of rugged 1050 Denier nylon. Bag features a reinforced, contoured rubber grip covered carry handle for comfort while carrying and comes equipped with a detachable, padded shoulder strap for ease of transport.
The Atomic Aquatics Padded Regulator Bag boasts a padded internal compartment. The main compartment also features three more storage areas: a large, Velcro closure pocket, a smaller mesh zippered pocket, and fully lined zippered pocket. There is an external zippered compartment for items you need close at hand. Regulator bag is black in color.
