There is a little hole through the end where you could loop some line through and tie to something else.MAAKA M : Rope it. Great little whistle

It’s a whistle. Not much else to say. It is loud and will get your bubble watcher’s attention if you get away from your boat. Definitely a great piece of safety equipment that should always be carried.

Can't hear ya

I say this was a gift because it was a freebie with an SMB that I bought. I would be upset if I'd actually spent money on this. It is not loud at all and I would not rely on it to get anyones attention.

Blow in it! It makes noise!

It's a whistle. Blow in the correct end and sound comes out. This one is the quality that one might find in a cracker jack box or gumball machine. The welds aren't particularly even or smooth, but sound does indeed come out when blown upon. If you need that extra $2 to push you over a free shipping or coupon limit, this is the whistle for you!

The Blue Reef Marine Whistle is a unique survival whistle that clips to pocket or belt. Whistle also has lanyard attachment point on the rear end of the device. S.O.S Whistle is made from high impact polypropylene. The whistle has extremely high decibel level of 113dB with minimal effort. The Blue Reef Marine Whistle is a pea-less design with no moving parts to jam of freeze-up when used in cold environments. Whistle is bright orange in color, measures 2.75 x 75" (7 x 1 9cm) and weighs 0.33 oz (9.36g).
