Too Small

Too small for a 50 cubic foot aluminum flat bottom tank (6.9”). I will have to modify this boot to make it fit the tank, by shaving the interior walls. The only pro about this product is quick shipping.

Rubber would be superior to plastic boots

These are too tight for a standard 50 cubic foot tank (6.9"), even when heated by the sun prior to installing. After a short time, they split/crack. Now I use a Dermal Tool to reduce the interior ridges, so it slips on easier and is secure. Plastic tank boots may keep the tank from rolling, but there is room for improvement. Trident makes a rubber boot for 63 and 80 cubic foot tanks (7.25"). It is far superior to plastic boots because not only does it protect the tank, it protects the surface where the tank is placed.
