In a night dive my face and head began itching as hell in the surface only, it stop when we went down, I think it is sea lice, Im correct?Mario C : That is good news : ). Sounds likely to be, but again not being a doctor and not being there, makes it hard to assume, at least now we know was not something only you experienced.Mario C : Yes it can be used on the face. I am not sure if sea louse would also be found at the bottom, from my understanding regardless where in the water column you contracted it would bother you throughout the dive. Probably the best advice here would be to contact your dermatologist.

A group of us where taken out off the coast of Honduras they dropped us off in the water before we knew it jellyfish where everywhere I've never seen as many as that day the only thing I had where some small red marks but no pain at all it was a life saver had I not had it on the rest of the trip would have been terrible. Does not work

My skin is super sensitive to jellyfish and sea lice and bought this to try. Applied 30 mins and 5 mins before going into the water, and constantly reapplied but still had really nasty stings!!! I finished a 100ml bottle in 5 days so I am sure I had done all I could. Wish I could post the photos of my stings - multiple patches all over my body and were really inflamed a few days after. This is not effective at preventing stings but works ok as sunscreen.
