Aqua Rubber Octo Holder Yellow

I bought this expecting to have a stretchy rubber piece to hold my octo. Instead, the rubber on this is fairly stiff with very little stretch. It's difficult even without gloves to get the mouthpiece through the hole and I fear it's going to tear if I try to force it. The octo comes free fairly easily, which is good for emergencies, but annoying to put back after jumping off a boat especially with gloves. I tend to just use a hose clip if I don't feel like fidgeting with this. Maybe some other colors or other versions of this are a stretchier rubber and mine is bad, but I won't buy another one.

I purchased this to hold my alternate second stage. Works great, it holds my alternate close for streamline and far enough off my body for my buddy to grab in the case of an emergency.

This Octo holder works grade to keep my octopus from banging against the side of the dive boat. Your life support system is one of the most important accessories you can buy in the sport of scuba diving and this clip really helps out especially when swimming over a reef wall to prevent dragging and damage to the ecosystem. It kept my Aqualung octopus extremely well secured during the dive. Highly recommended.

It holds the Octo in the right spot, but you have to get the band just right on the mouthpiece, otherwise it wants to slide out a bit too easily. I made sure the band was behind the ziptie on the mouthpiece, and it held secure, but can still be easily taken out with a tug.

This works decently well to hold your octo in place. Its very flexible and out of water its not hard to get it on. Underwater was a pain. It didn't fall off unintentionally, but if I took it off it was very hard to get back on.

I've used this holder on about 20 dives. It does a good job holding the octo in place during the dive. However, I generally have to reattach the octo to the holder after doing giant strides into the water - the octo will pop loose on contact with the water. I guess that this is somewhat good since that means the octo would come loose from the holder relatively easy in an emergency situation. Not a major issue.
