DERRY S : I'm interested in purchasing a Silicone replacement strap for my older (25 years old) Dacor Dive Mask.  And want to confirm that the $5.95 replacement strap will fit well. My current strap is Silicone and is 7/8" wide where it fastens to the mask. Also I want to be sure that the new strap that I buy is Silcone?RICHARD B : If I had a 25 year old mask I would seriously consider replacing the mask itself. I use nothing but Scubapro equipment and use my mask for several hours a day 3 xweek and am lucky if I can get 3 years out of them due to not wanting to get a good mask seal

The rear of the strap (where it touches you head) is 2 1/4" / 57mm.KEVIN D : It is always a good idea to carry a spare strap with you. Strap for SCUBA dive mask

I ordered a silicone dive mask strap on ~Sept 3rd, But it was back ordered. So I called and ordered also the rubber version of the strap. I have received the rubber strap and it works well but I am still awaiting the silicon strap. Please let me know the status of delivery for the silicone strap that I ordered and paid for and am waiting for. I realize that the item was back ordered and that deliveries have been delayed due to COVID. Thank you for reaching out and allowing me to provide feedback as you seek to further improve customer service.

It is not useable as a replacement for a mask strap, I picked one up at the local dive shop that is useable.

Fits older style US Divers mask well

Fits my older (2002) US Divers LOOK mask. Measures 22 mm or 7/8 inches wide and has larger (1+mm) knobs for click adjuster. Compared to the original, it is of thicker, less elastic silicon, so it is not as stretchy and is a little more bulky in the adjuster. I will work though to get a few more years out of older mask and or as a back up strap. I did not want to go with the typical neoprene/Velcro replacement because I wanted something to stay clean and dry quickly. I would measure your original strap before purchasing this replacement. Many modern masks have narrower straps with smaller knobs.
