This is a replacement for one that lasted 25+ years. I love that it doubles as a case and strap. Really Protects my prescription lenses. The nylon strap loosened easily until I got into the water. Inconvenient but not fatal. My wife did not experience that problem with her mask. Just something slightly different between the msdks.

The straps on this are too wide to fit the buckles on my AquaLung Micromask. I improvised a fit by threading the standard Micromask strap through the Marsoops, with the Marsoops on the inside. This was comfortable and secure. The Marsoops covers the glass part of the Micromask easily between dives. Probably would float the mask-- I didn't check. Not worth the price.

A great idea that works very well. I had to make a slight modification to the strap as it was a little too wide for my mask. I love it. Saves my mask from damage.

Its a good product it just doesn't fit all applications. My mask has periferal vision, so its just a little bigger. This strap doesn't account for that. My wife has the same strap with a regular mask and she loves it.

This strap WILL float your MASK, but NOT a snorkel AND a mask... as far as using it as a case, forget it. Way too small. (would be fine for smaller goggles). Works fine to float a mask ONLY. Very comfortable.

this strap WILL float your mask. i have tested it in many dif situations. salt, fresh, cold, warm, current, waves, etc. it describes being able to store your mask inside it, very tough to fit though. it is VERY comfortable. stays adjusted to the size you put it to. not that easy to wear under a hood and definately meant to be worn over hood. all in all i like mine very much but not sure i would purchase again for such a high price tag [$]???

This sounded like a great product, but it's too slippery and loose to keep your mask on. I lost a very expensive mask in the surf the first time I used it, and it did NOT float as promised.

I love this product. I have them on both of my scuba masks. My mask came off upon entry in Bora Bora and it floated right next to me making it easy to retrieve and put back on. It protects my mask when packed and keeps the lens from getting scratched. I would recommend them to everyone.

The "Mask Marsoop" operates like a regular mask strap, but when you are finished making your dive the strap quickly turns inside out over and around the mask to become a protective mask case that floats! The Mask Marsoop, will float almost every mask made. No more hassles looking for your case or worrying about sinking your mask. The strap quickly converts into the case, so you can protect your investment.
Not only does the Mask Marsoop" protect your mask like the pouch of a kangaroo (a Marsupial), it also won't pull or tangle your hair. Made from nylon 2 neoprene the mask strap cover and floating mask case has taped and sewn edges for strength and durability. Two button snaps keep your mask securely cushioned inside when storing the mask. Strap replaces the masks rubber strap and threads directly to the masks buckles with hook and loop fasteners. The "Mask Marsoop" makes a great gift item for that diving significant other or dive buddy and is available in multiple colors.
