Additional use for this adapter

I used this adapter for an automotive purpose. I needed an adapter to convert a 1979 A/C fitting from 3/8 x24 to 7/16 x20 that allowed for o-rings to seal to the original fitting to a new binary switch. This part worked perfectly.

HP adapter

If you have an older high pressure hose with a 3/8" fitting, and you want to use it with a newer regulator that has a 7/16" orifice, then you need an adapter like this. It is good quality, at a fair price.
