Small, lightweight and attaches to my webbing. Seems to be holding up well with very little rust after over 100 dives. Replaceable blades are nice too. Good for lines, I keep EMT shears on me for the heavier stuff.

Cuts easier than a knife or scissors. I think the design will allow me to get through TSA in my carry-on bag.

great piece of equipment I'll hopefully never have to use. Had it with me in fresh and salt, no signs of corrosion. Great little tool.

Diving the lakes in my area thought this would be good if I were to get tangled in fishing line. Easily attaches to BCD

I have this zip tied to my BC. Its right where I need it and highly visible so others diving with me can grab it if needed. Good to have since you never know when you'll need it. Also less cumbersome than trying to get a knife out.

Highly recommended for a backup cutter that can be placed on BCD for easy access.

It's a bit snug in the pouch it comes with, but honestly how often do you need one of these. The few (if ever) times you may need a tool like this (i.e. for cutting errant fishing lines/nets if you get tangled), it's not too hard to tug on it to get it out of the pouch and shove it back in. If it was something you used regularly, the tight pouch might be a minor issue, thus one star off. Most of the time you forget you have this small piece of required equipment. (In fact, I almost did leave it on a rental BCD one day, luckily someone else caught the oversight.)

NJ wrecks have fish and fish attract fishermen; lines get caught on the wreck and get cut at the surface. That leaves sometimes up to 75 to 100 feet of monofilament line on the wreck to snag anything a diver has. This cutter is the best design as one of the two cutting devices you need. I keep mine on my belt and secure it with a tether. It can save a life.

Great product, could it be cheaper? Yes I think it could be, a little - regardless it's a must have. It mounts in lots of places on your kit, deploys easily, stows easily and yes it can cut very, very well.

Great for use in National Marine Sanctuaries where standard dive knives are not allowed. Works well and is compact for travel.

I haven't tried it under water, but product design seems excellent. It may be easier to extract from the case when wet.

Attached to my backmount and sidemount cave harnesses. Used as line cutter in case of entanglement. I like the size, attachment to harness, attachment of cutter to sheath, sharpness, ease of use underwater.

Purchased for scuba diving, I have a knife but this was recommended and I do prefer it over trying to reach for knife.

In testing it against various lines, it is very sharp. It is simple and easy to hold, although it may be hard to get back in the holster after using it with thick gloves. Overall, it should be very effective against nets and small lines.
