KEVIN D : I'd like to connect my yolk 1st stage reg to my din tank. Is this device for tank filling only or can it be used as a full-functioning adapter?ARNOLD W : Two previous responses are correct. If you tried to use this fill adapter for diving it would give you the wrong orientation for you 1st stage (a 90 degree rotation). Don't do it.GEORGE W : Agreed. This is intended for filling, but not intended for use with regulators. Din to Yoke adapters are available and typically cost around 50 dollars. This is not one.YAN G : No, only for filling. You would need to purchase a DIN conversion kit for your regulator.
Please call or email us directly and we can help you with this.
DEBORAH J : Which adapter would be the better or most useful to buy the 200 bar or 300 bar?DAVID M : The 200 bar will only fit 200 bar tank valves. The 300 bar will fit both 200 and 300 bar tank valves. I would buy the 300 bar as it is more versitile.MR THOMAS M K : 200 bar for low pressure tanks, 300 bar for high pressure
JOSEPH M : I would get the 300 bar. It works with HP tanks. You never know when you, or someone in your group might need to fill a HP tank. Keep the versatility.JAMES S : Hi. Don't remember which one I bought! I mainly use it to fill my sons paintball tanks from my dive tanks. The unit works great. Not an expert in this area, do a google search with your question. I had the same question back in 2011, and searched the net for an answer ( don't remember what it was).I think the 300bar is backwards compatible , but not 100% sure.
Shopper : Does anyone know if the yolk fitting can be unscrewed from the adapter so that the din fitting can be screwed to fill whips?JEFF T : I don't understand the question, the adapter does not screw apart. ALAN J S : The adapter screws into the tank, and the whip (already with the yoke ) fills the tank

SKU: AQUTCEMARK L : I do not think that is possible. Also what you get is not as pictured. Instead of the hard plastic wheel its a chrome plated knurled brass wheel. A little rougher on the hands when you go to unscrew it from the tank valve. Also I ordered 300 bar. They will not fit in any 200 bar din valve. Unlike those brass ones you see that fit 200 or 300 bar.
ALAN B : i HAVE AN OLD STYLE HP STEEL TANK WITH 300 DIN SERVICE.
WILL THIS ADAPTER REACH THE SEALING O RING IN THE DEEP 300 DIN SERVICE? 97-9 THREADS
THANK YOU!
ALANSTANLEY S : The adapter is definitely long enough for the older DIN tanks. I've been using this adapter type for my PST steel tanks which are rated to 3500 and have no inserts.
.RICHARD D : Yes it will fit, the only thing you to watch out for is the outside diameter of the DIN connector on the tank valve.
Make sure it is perfectly round, and no larger then 1.25 inches.
I will try to explain this the best I can.
The collar that you can see on this adapter is hollow underneath.
And your DIN connection on your tank valve is going to go up inside that collar as you tighten it. the Inside diameter of that collar is about 1.25 inches.
It wont fit on one of my Din valves for this reason.
RickNATHAN K : Yes, it should. I have a 300 bar DIN valve on my tanks and this adapter fits just fine.FRANCIS J : SINCE I BOUGHT THE DIN TO YOKE ADAPTERI HAVE USED IT CONSTANTLY IN WELLOVER150 DIVES OFF OF NJ. THE ADAPTER HAS WORKED WELL FOR ME. A GREAT DEVICE. NOT SURE ABOUT THE THREADING.

Shopper : Will this work with Enriched Air?WILLIAM M : I see no problems with using it with nitrox. The need for vyton o-rings seems to be more hype than anything else. Under extended use in a high oxygen environment you might seem premature deterioration of the o-rings, but they are easy enought to replace.JOHN M : I do not know. I am not familiar with enriched air systems.JAMES S : Opps, that is right, you will need to change the O-ring ( I also forgot the name). This is fine for filling but not intended for use during diving. My suggestion if you want to use it for diving is just get a new tank valve for the type of fitting on your equipment.JAMES S : First off, I am no expert. I don't see any reason why it wouldn't, it is just a device that changes from one type fitting to another. Although, I am sure it would need to be grease free since the enriched air is higher in O2. I would ask at the dive shop you use for fills. If they won't answer, I would find a new dive shop that will and stick with them in the future. I think all it would need is a good cleaning, and you should be set to go.
Just ask at a dive shop/fill station to confirm.
Good luck. JimDAVID C : Hello, when you enriched air are you Nitrogen? If so if the tanks are the same thread it should work for you.CICHLID P : This I don't really know. Mine fitted only in a few DIN equipped tanks; for others it was too short and wouldn't seal. This is not an universal adapter and if the DIN socket is deep (on high pressure tanks) it will not work.JARED W : its will work, airflow restriction across the orifice of the coupler will be minimal. this does add more connections in your lines, which is best to avoid. this is more designed for filling tanks then using while diving. if you are running enriched air, you are probably running deep or long dives. if this is the case, you can get a yoke/j valve(i think is the correct name) for fairly cheap considering your running enriched air and probably into the sport. just for filling tanks, more then adequate. I use mine from time to time on spare tanks, shallow dives <40 ft. i would be comfortable bringing it deeper, just don't need to. I also only run straight air. jared.GEORGE P : Yes this will work with air or NitroxRICHARD D : I would say no because,
It is not intended to be used while diving.
It is used to fill your din tank at a shop that only has a yoke connector.
You can use a din regulator on a yoke tank with an adapter while diving.
But not the other way around.
Your scuba shop should be able to verify this.MELVYN W : No Problem, but if you want to be absolutely safe, change the o ring to the O2 safe kind. (the light brown ones, forgot the material name)GEORGE P : Can't say, I only used it to fill paintball tanks.JEFF T : Yes no problem but has to be oxygen cleaned to my knowledge, I d't think you can go back and forth.
