It does the job quite well, light and effective. Buy two and can make a longer one for paddleboards and have spare blades.

Very light weight, breaks down easily for storage and is cost efficient in case you lose one.

Have over 30 of these paddles we use for kayak classes. Very strong and should last over 5 years. Highly recommend. www.kayaks4kidz.com

works great, love the 3 piece design, hollow aluminum tubes are sealed at both ends so it will float even if disassembled, could be broken down to be used as 2 canoe/boat paddles, although one would be extremely short!, also works great for paddling a canoe while standing, or could be used with a paddle board i would think

This paddle is very uncomfortable on the grip, it will hurt your hands, also blade is too small and you will need to paddle twice in order to advance with your kayak. For a few bucks more you can get a bigger blade.

Good with inflatable kayak, but would benefit from rubber rings to stop water

I took this paddle on a 6 day packrafting trip in the Grand Canyon. It was very light and fit compactly in the side of my backpack. We went down a few class 2 rapids. I can see how the paddle might break if you bent the paddle over a rock. I thought this was a good paddle even when in full length as a kayak paddle. For under $25 bucks thou don't expect anything more then a ultralight paddle. If you are doing harder rapids or weigh over 200 pounds I would spend more and get a nicer heavier paddle that is also more durable. Weight, price and compactness were what I was looking for and this paddle delivered.

Our 7 year old got his first Kyack. Left center piece out perfect fit. Think it will last till he needs longer one when we will add the middle piece.

The Airhead Kayak Paddle is a good portable kayak paddle at a great price. The 3-section aluminum and plastic paddle is 86" (218.4cm) long. Break it down for compact storage that stows in a 6" x 22" x 3" (15.25cm x 55.9cm x 7.6cm) space making it a great travel or backpacking paddle. The corrosion resistant aluminum and plastic design provides lightweight alternative and will give you year of reliable service.
