We bought the tube for use on our new pontoon boat, but haven't had the opportunity or weather for tubing yet. The Riptide 3-Person Towable from Airhead is a great value for tubes that feature a wrap-around backrest for that couch-like" ride. These tubes are incredibly lively side to side, requiring very little effort from the boat driver to cross the wake. Equipped with a Kwick-Connect for easy rope attachments and disconnects. Riptide features comfortable seat pads and foam-filled tubular webbing handles with neoprene knuckle guards for firm and comfortable hand holds. Built-to-last, manufactured with a heavy-duty PVC radio frequency (RF) welded bladder covered in durable double stitched 420-nylon. The patented speed safety valves provide the ultimate in inflation and deflation convenience. The Riptide 3 Person Towable measures 85" x 70" (216cm x 178cm), deflated, has a maximum weight capacity of 510 lbs. (231kg), requires a tow rope with a minimum tensile strength of 3,350 lbs. (1,520kg) that is 50' to 65' (15.25m to 19.8m) in length and comes with an owner's manual.
