Jana B : I don’t like the instructions as it does not mention what the red thing is or how it is used.  I only understand the nozzles for inflatables. Horrible instructions.  Appreciate the help?Mario C : Hi Jana, got in touch with Airhead that red handle is a pressure release valve to drop the pressure to 1.4 psi from the standard 2.5. Help!CHERYL R : sorry not sure either?....just use one of the nozzle so far on the boat tube?...maybe air-bed ?MICHAEL C : The larger nozzle would be for a towable or float that uses boston valves, which have a much larger opening than most other tubes.
Shopper : Is there an adapter for Coleman's Double Lock/Mini Double Lock?ERIC P : I am not sure the specific Coleman double lock but it works on both my Coleman inflatable mattress and our inflatable kayak. You use the longer skinny adapter that pushes the internal flap open to force air in.

This is simply the best Airhead performing 120-volt air pump available, for inflating and deflating at unprecedented speed. Peak pressure is 2.5 psi (0.17 bars), plenty of pressure to get high end inflatable boats, rafts and reinforced backyard items nice and firm. You'll immediately notice how they perform better when properly inflated. A pressure release valve is included to limit pressure to 1.4 psi (0.097 bars) for preventing over-inflating towable, pool toys and other vinyl and nylon covered inflatable items.

The accordion-style hose locks onto the pump, eliminating annoying disconnections. Four universal valve fittings fit all popular valves and lock onto the hose. You'll love the screw-on Boston valve adapter, an Airhead exclusive. For added convenience, there's a fold down carry handle and a 10' (3m) long power cord. Pump draws 6.1 amps/730 watts, and has a volume of 16.2 cu. ft. (460 liters) per minute.
