Mares' new jacket style Dragon Bladder design is tightly tailored to reduce drag, placing much of the air cell around the tank. The air cell is contoured to greatly minimize the feeling of the bladder underneath your arms and gives comfortable surface flotation. All that ergonomics and still has a lift of 44 lbs. (20 kg) size large.

Innovative protective buoyancy cover material: Superior combination of 3D Alutex net adds protection, abrasion resistant, with a smooth shield fabric covering. The air cell is made of durable 420 Cordura denier. The Mechanical Release System (MRS Plus), Mares evolution of the first mechanical weight system introduced to the market, incorporating a newly designed buckle system, one pull movement to release your weights. Ergonomically shaped pockets to form to your waist, with large, zippered opening allows for easier insertion of weights. Maximum load of 13 lbs. (6 kg) with most sizes. Inside Velcro to section the pocket in case you don't use the full capacity.

The Dragon has two rear trim weight pockets holding up to10 lbs. (4.5 kg) total. These pockets are positioned in the lower part of the BCD for better upright body efficiency at the surface, and a more streamlined profile. Back Protection System (BPS Plus) patented dual position lumbar capability. Heavily padded in either position, you can double the padding for increased lumbar support or extend the length of the padding depending on body shape for ultimate pre-dive comfort.

Smart D-ring position with large AISI 304 stainless steel rings, 2 bent: 2 upper and 2 lower that are positioned intelligently within your downward vision also functioning as leverage while inserting the weight pockets. Comfort is paramount with the Dragon with its independent harness which allows the air bladder to inflate away from the diver eliminating the crushing effect of BCD's that have fixed harnesses. Elastic cummerbund secures the BCD in place and adjusts for wetsuit compression at depth. QAS-Quick Adjust System change the length of the cummerbund for a better customized fit. A neoprene padded collar and internal plush lining also adds comfort.

BCD comes standard with 3 Pull-Dump/Overpressure Relief Valves, one incorporated into the top of the Ergo Inflator; one located on the right shoulder and a third is located on the rear lower right. Activation of the valves are made easy with both the upper and lower right valves coming with pull cords and the valve incorporated into the Ergo Inflator is activated by an internal cable attached to the inflator mechanism. Inflator includes a 3/8" threaded low pressure quick disconnect hose.

With torso adjustable shoulder straps, adjustable chest and waist straps, all equipped with squeeze-style" side release buckles for easy donning and doffing, two angled zippered pockets, rugged carry handle, dual position hose clip for your gauges, shaped shoulder straps adapt better to alleviate pressure on the shoulders, safety whistle and lots of lift 44 lbs.
