Fantastic customer service

Love my mask, very comfortable. Exceptional customer service helped me get the right custom lens, then got them here in time for my trip. Regular glasses took weeks, but my custom dive mask took only a couple days. They even replaced the lid to my mask box when I lost it on a trip, no charge. WOW!

Nice Mask

I had the older version of this mask for many years and loved it. I am a bit concerned about the strap buckle design on the new version as it appears to have the potential to break if stress is applied. Having said that, I just came back from a 60 day trip where I used it every day with no issues. I would recommend this mask.

Factory Second?

Bought this mask to replace an older one from Seavision. It was $20 cheaper than buying directly from Seavision. The mask itself is functional, but the magenta coating is thin at both eyeframe corners and the plastic inside the eyeframe is not finished smoothly. Overall, okay for the price but next time I'll buy from the factory.

Comfort, function, but quality questions

I bought this mask to replace the same one I ordered a year ago. I ordered that one to replace one that was stolen which I obtained in 2001 and had served me well for almost 15 years. This is the best mask I have ever used, but I think the quality has gone down since 2001. The skirt, which molds to almost any face seems to be made of thinner silicon now. The reason I had to replace the one from a year ago is the more brittle plastic on the hinges broke. I still love the design, and the lenses correct color nicely at depth, but I don't think I will be able to count on it to last me for 15 years anymore.

The mask that started it all, the Sea Vision 2000 offers elegant simplicity without sacrificing function and comfort. Sea Vision's 2000 Mask is a comfortable fitting low volume 2-window mask. Mask is equipped with swivel buckles and its skirt is made from crystal silicone the highest-grade of silicone available. The double feathered edge black crystal silicone skirt and wide split strap combined for a comfortable and perfect seal on the face. The mask has a one hand easy to reach nose pocket for ear equalization that even works well with thick gloved hands. Mask is designed to fit a wide range of faces, fitting divers in a weight range from 60-240 lbs. (27.2 to 110 kg).

The Sea Vision 2000 Mask incorporates a unique lens design using CR-39 hard resin, a light transparent plastic polymer material common in the manufacturing of eyeglasses. It has high abrasion resistance, in fact the highest abrasion/scratch resistance of any uncoated optical plastic. The use of CR-39 in the manufacturing of dive mask lenses allows color to be introduced to improve the ability to see the true-colors at depth without introducing artificial light (dive light).

The 2000 Mask has magenta lenses designed for use in waters where colors are more rich and vibrant (i.e. coral reefs). This unique product is designed to filter out blue wavelengths in the water, allowing your eyes to see the brilliant reds, oranges, yellows and green colors that are lost as a diver descends. For example, at a depth of 25' (7.6m), red is no longer visible to the naked eye. At the 75' (22.9m), yellow looks greenish-blue, because the yellow light has been absorbed by the water, the Sea Vision Technology adjusts the color bands to allow users to actually-see and enjoy the colors there in front of them. Included with the Mask is a Free 2 fl. oz. (59 ml) of Sea Visions Defog Spray a non-toxic and non-abrasive defog product and to protect your mask a protective mask box.
