Sleek and reliable. I love this one even though I've heard charter captains call it a "Bends Buddy." Readings are a bit on the liberal side, but by no means negligent.

I love this watch, I have very small wrists so it is much better than a lot of bigger watches. Works great too!

I have used this DC for about two years now and put well over a hundred dives on it. and can NOT recommend it. Not if you expect to take advantage of all the features touted and if customer service matters to you. - Customer support - there is none, period. I tried many times to contact Oceanic/Huish Outdoors by phone and their published service department email. I was looking for info on a voucher for free computer training that was supposed to be available. I was also trying to locate up-to-date drivers so I could download dive info to my computer. The PC drivers needed to run the software are way outdated. Software - after spending $90 on a cable to link the DC to my desktop/laptop, I discovered that you cannot use the software and by extension any of the touted dive tracking/downloading features - if you use have updated your operating system within the last ten years (latest supported version is Windows 2000). I never, not even once, received a response to my communications of any kind (and that was even after I tracked down another instructor locally who knew the regional rep - to my knowledge he never got a response either. As for the function of the DC, its OK. The functions I was most interested in were those I use for tech dives (Nitrox, deco planning, alarms and features that would make my dive safer. The alarms, if you can decipher how to set them from the user manual, work alright but the visual indicators are a weak. E.g. the TLBG (Tissue Loading Bar Graph, which provides a visual indication of inert gas uptake) is not a very effective indicator as it is too small to be effective underwater. The user manual is all but useless, very poorly written, and as an engineer with 20+ years of design experience and writing tech documents, trust me, its pretty bad. Oceanic makes and sells a lot of dive gear and the experience I had with this purchase has made me question if I should be spending my hard earned money with them for this level of service. There are better options out there. I will not recommend their gear to my students or others.

Really love the watch... Bought the white one for myself and the graphite for my boyfriend. It's big on me but perfect for him. I can see it and hear it just fine under water. It was intimidating at first to learn it but it's pretty easy once you take a minute to go through some online videos. The video that comes with it makes it a little more confusing than it has to be. Go to YouTube - really good vids to explain all the features. It's a really nice computer without being super pricey or complex.

My Wife and I have one and I got one for the Pastor of our church (We along with other Men take a Cruise every couple of Years and We dive then also) the fourth is a stand by in case of trouble.

I bought this on closeout since the model has been, "upgraded." The new model now comes in different colors and has bluetooth, but I don't think those changes justify the $130 price difference. You can't beat the price ($270) for the Geo 2 for a two algorithm computer. I specifically wanted a computer that was running the dsat algorithm rather than the RGBM on most other computers, and this had dsat. The menu is not at all intuitive. The included directions are useless. There are good video resources available on the web that show you how to navigate the various menus. Once you figure it out, it isn't that hard, but I wouldn't want to have to navigate the menus much on a dive. The dual time function (in watch mode) requires 10 menu selections to activate/deactivate. Also, which time of the two dual times that are displayed can be a bit funky. Also, there seems to be no way to have the date displayed when in watch mode (only day of week) even though there is screen space available... This computer has good features you won't find elsewhere at this price point, but is a bit clunky to use.

My last Oceanic data max 2 died after 18 years. I went with the geo2 because of the algorithm. It's made for my type of warm relaxing diving. It has taken over perfectly. It allows more bottom time without any worries.

I'm not one who likes or writes reviews just after unboxing the product. You have to use something a while to see if it holds up and works well over time. This product does that. I've had it about 3 years and used it on 4 week long dive trips to Caymans. Its worked well and held up well. Very dependable. This was my first dive computer after being out of the sport for a long time. Understanding the menu is / was the biggest hurdle. But, after watching free online video tutorial that you get access to with watch, I was good to go. I dive Nitrox and it takes 10 seconds to set the level. Easy to read figures. I don't like sounds and warnings going off all the time underwater. You can turn all those off if you don't like them. I had to replace the battery after about 2.5 years. That was easy. Replacement battery is common. So, no worries there. If you're hestating, don't. This works well as a dive computer and it's not too big as a wristwatch. I have small arms / hands and it looks and feels fine. You won't regret this purchase.

I love this computer, its size is not obstructive when I put the dive equipment on, yet the screen is clear. Enough liberal in order to allow me to enjoy longer dives. Very easy to replace the battery. The interface is a bit complicated but easy to use once you understand their functions.

Bought 2... one for my wife and one for me. Did research prior to purchasing and decided to go with this unit because I felt it was the best(most features) in my price range. I bought it on sale and with coupon for $250. Reading reviews prior to purchase, I had 2 concerns with this unit. Both ended up not being an issue. First since it is not the hockey puck style, I was afraid size might be to small to see underwater. I do wear reading glasses and yet I had no issues seeing the display clearly without my normal readers. This may be different for some but was no issue for me. Oh and the backlight is there for darker scenarios. Second, I read that it was hard to program. I simply read the owners manual and made up my own cheat sheet prior to use. I found that I did not nee the cheat sheet and honestly thought it is pretty straight forward to program. Overall happy with the computer. I like that it can be used as a watch or a dive computer and that it is wristwatch size vs. the hockey puck. Like the dual algorithm, the backlight, the display layout is good as well.

The only thing I’m disappointed about is if you buy the white / sea blue color the extension strap does not match. The extension strap is black.

I like having 2 computers when I dive and the Geo 2 fulfills the backup role very well with lots of capabilities. I also use it as a travel watch when I go travel to dive. Then I don't need a watch. I dive cold water most of the time.

I love this computer, more functions than a I use but I bought with an intent to “grow into” as my diving advances. At times the face is small in low visibility and can be hard to read but the programmable alarms and customized dive planning make it a bargain for the price. Well worth the money!

Excellent quality product. I would certainly buy it again. This is replacing a Mares Smart computer...The Geo 2 is much more comfortable on the arm and has an easier to read display.

I got the GEO 2.0 to replace my VEO 2.0. The interface is similar to my previous computer. During the dive, it displays current depth, no-deco/deco time, max depth, and bottom time. The interface can navigate forwards and backwards through menus and settings. It has four operation modes: Watch, Norm, Gage, and Free. It can also be set to monitor two separate gases between nitrox mixes and 100% O2. The computer is constantly powered on and is what I assume can be worn as an everyday watch. It comes with a watch band extension for wrapping around thick exposure suits or drysuits. It has an illuminated backlight which is useful during low light situations. Overall, a good product. *Note that the Oceanic algorithm is less conservative than other computers. Only complaint is that the display is a little smaller than my old puck style computer. The setup is less bulky but at the expense of the display size (personal preference).

The manufacturer has issued a firmware update on this dive computer. One is expected to purchase a $100 USB cable to perform this upgrade. I reached out to Leisure Pro's customer service and Oceanic with no help on the firmware update. The documentation that comes with this computer is very dated and not at all helpful. My dive master gave me pointers on this computer to give it a try on a diving trip. It works well with Nitrox. Countdown for safely stops is very helpful. I have had 11 dives using this computer but the logs only show 7, be sure to note the depth, time, etc following each dive as logs are not reliable. Worst purchase ever. One of my dive buddies used an Apple watch on a 105ft wreck dive, worked better than this computer. These useless dive computer will be extinct soon.

Very satisfied with the algorithm. Used this computer on multiple Liveaboard dives over 10 days on Nitrox 32. My bottom times were nice compared to my conservative back up unit. Once you follow the online set up tutorial, it is an intuitive computer that lets you navigate the screens relatively easily. The functions you need to change the most often are pretty easy to learn. Nice options in audible alarms etc and water activated so no need to worry about that. I like the many higher tech features this gives you if you like to do more advanced dives.

This is my first owned dive computer, I have been on ten dives with it so far. Quality of the materials used are great, the system itself is easy to use and navigate through the information displayed. Large easy to read dial face.

Always good experience with computers made by Pelagic Pressure Systems. I passed my first one onto my friend's daughter who, certified at 17, was younger than the computer (Sherwood Source). The unit is still fully functional but after 20+ years the shell developed a crack when I changed the battery for the upteenth time. My Oceanic Datamax Sport is going strong after over 12 years. It's a loaner now. I had a Aladin Tec 2G crap out on me so I purchased this Geo 2. This Geo 2 has a clear display with numbers only marginally smaller than the larger Veo series. Battery easy to replace. Can be switched to Buhlmann Z model which makes it good for a busy divemaster (not too conservative). Aladin was a little bit more aggressive with its Buhlmann Z model version and I also used to own a Suunto Stinger (sold it) which was more conservative. I have not (and never will) tried the PADI DSAT model setting on the Geo 2. Fyi, the DSAT is the default setting when I bought it. Docked one star because of the unfriendly UI which makes it hard to navigate settings despite having 4 buttons available. Several steps to change your nitrox mix. You get used to it but it's still annoying. Reminds me of a Garmin product :-( Other than that it seems sturdy and comes with a nice stick on urethane screen protector that is easy to apply and doesn't scratch or fog. The screen is mineral glass and is recessed into the bezel so I don't even think the protector is necessary. Recommend based on Performance, build, and practicality. NB: The complete Owners Manual (and, boy will you need it) is only to be found on the incl CD in pdf file.

This is a great dive computer. With it's unique algorithim it gives you more bottom time than any other dive computer which you can decide for yourself if it is advantageous or not. You can switch to a more conservative mode. It is a great size, not too bulky like some others but a bit bigger than say the Suunto D4. As a dive instructor and guide it's perfect for me. I would recommend it.

i still need to get one, but get a lens and button protector/guard, i find while using it with a dry suit, if i wear the computer on my right arm, in a watch position, the buttons get depressed and i have had the time change, a bit of a pain, i use a lanyard to keep computer up my arm, but i will be getting a guard to install on computer asap

Great computer. Instructions couldn't be much more difficult. I believe they are printed this way intentionally so that you will pay for the online instructions. Don't buy unless you are willing to spend the time and monies to learn how to use this computer.

Been diving regularly for the past 30 years of my life and have owned 3 computers during this time. Good old Scan 4 which served me for 12 years and an Aeris console rig which I was not fond of due to limited bottom time, then I did my homework and looked for the dive computer that was "generous" with its bottom time and the Geo2 fit the bill. I've had it now for almost exactly 2 years, its history log says 144 dives with a total of 124 hours of bottom time. During my last dive it gave me a l...

The Geo 2.0 includes Oceanic's exclusive Dual Algorithm Buhlmann ZHL-16c based PZ+, or DSAT based, algorithm, deep stop option and a redesigned user interface with "step back" which allows forward and backward navigation through menus and settings. Additionally, a second Nitrox mix (both programmable to 100%) is available, as well as firmware auto-update which allows the user to download and install operational improvements or even future new features through the PC Interface (with optional cable). With dual algorithm and optional conservative factor settings, the Geo 2.0 may be programmed to provide no deco and deco profiles like virtually every computer on the market.
4 Operating Modes: WATCH (alternate time, chrono, daily alarm, countdown timer), NORM (Air and Nitrox), GAUGE (with run timer) and FREE (tracks calculations to allow switching between NORM and Free). Switch between up to 2 Nitrox mixes to 100% O2 with no restriction (Gas 1 may be up to 100% and may be less or greater than Gas 2). Stop times less than 3 minutes - displays minutes & seconds, deep stop with countdown timer maybe turned on or off, 2-minute countdown at half your max depth, for dives greater than 80' (25 meters). Single button access to "last dive" display (max depth & bottom time), data retention - maintains calculations indefinitely when the battery is changed, audible alarm with flashing LED light, 24 dive on-unit log book and history mode includes total number of dives, max depth, total dive hours, and lowest temp.
Optional PC interface with OceanLog download and settings upload, 24 dive log memory for diving and 99 dives in free dive mode. The computers altitude algorithm is Buhlmann, IANDT, RDP (Cross) with altitude correction and O2 limits based on the NOAA tables and provides altitude adjustability from 3,001' to 14,000' (916m to 4,200m). The computer is powered by a CR2430 lithium battery that can provide up to 300-dive hours. The Computer has an operational depth of 330' (100m). When in low light conditions the Geo 2.0 is equipped with a backlight with an adjustable duration function and much more. The computer comes with a comprehensive owner's manual.
