I just bought this after my Fitbit died. Sleep data is on the watch but will not transfer across Garmin connect. Have tried everything

So happy with all the features, perfect for fitness tracking except that Garmin pay only accepts few banks. Need to improve on that!

I've had my Venu 2S for about a month now and I really like it but I wish the data displayed could be modified more than what is allowed. It would also be nice if you could make modifications to your watch face etc on the app instead of just on the watch itself as it isn't always easy to do on the small watch face. I like that the watch will auto recognize activities such as walking, but wish it would auto-recognize biking as well. Finally, I wish there were more band options than just the silicone band which I don't find that comfortable. I have found some 3rd party bands, but they can be hit or miss from a quality standpoint. Would much prefer there were other types of bands (fabric, leather, metal) made by Garmin.

Firstly, as a fitness watch it sure does tell you many stats! Which is great and love how you can manually chooses different gps signals. However, coming from an Apple Watch. There is a massive difference! Where I was getting a gps signal inside buildings on my Apple Watch (not connected to iPhone ) I?ve appeared to have lost this on my garmin. Tried the the different gps signals but no luck :(. This is very annoying that the antenna appears to be weaker than my Apple Watch for same scenarios. Outside no problems. Additionally, using garmin for the first time, and having no idea about the software or anything well truthfully the software sucks ! It?s not straightforward to use. It does takes some times playing around. And missing some key apps like reminders which could be Sync with your phone.

My husband just bought this for me a few weeks ago. I've had 2 forerunners prior to this and have loved them. I love the bright screen on this! I haven't yet figured out, nor had the chance to explore all the features and fully set it up, but what I have used it for it has been accurate and informative! My only complaint is that I had it on for 3 days before the screen protector came and there was already a small surface scratch on the crystal. I was not hard on the watch or anything. It just happened with regular use. I will not ever go without a screen protector on it.

Great features, reliable and so many stats available, as part of the watch.

I've had the watch about a month now, not only it gorgeous, but I love all the stats and ease of use. The battery last me about 3 days before I have to charge it. I use the GPS function several times a day on my walks.

I got really tired of charging my previous watch every day and even then having the battery run down during an activity. The Venu 2S with a battery that lasts about 10 days even with several walks/hikes/workouts plus having music downloaded is the perfect solution. I also use the golf function about twice a week and it works perfectly. I would like to be able to customize the watch face more but it acceptable as is. Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase of the Venu 2S

This noob was a bit worried that she would cop sighs and eye-rolls from twenty-something sons if she had to ask for help understanding her first ever smartwatch. It was a piece of cake! I researched what I wanted before the purchase (an extension of my phone, good looking enough to wear as a dress watch, tough, able to see screen well in bright daylight, didn't really care about the fitness stuff). It is fantastic, I wish I hadn't waited so long to buy one. The AMOLED display is superb, notifications are easy to read and respond to, there's a good range of clock faces to choose from, it's comfortable to wear. It gets a bit rude when it tells me to get moving just as I get comfortable on the couch haha

Very happy with this. This is my fourth Garmin device over the years. My favorite so far. I like all the features that I?ve learned to use and changing the watch face with my photos- just a fun extry

So far, using the watch for only basics, the battery life is pretty lousy. I haven't setup music, pay, or training, and I imagine that those will drain the battery faster. There isn't a very clear warning for low battery life - the watch just seems to die rather suddenly. Interestingly, I've been using my phone to compare the GPS distance tracker for runs and bike rides and the distance is always off. I'm not sure which is more accurate. In terms of controlling the device, I wish more was accessible via the watch. Instead any setting updates has to happen through one of the apps (and yes, having to bounce between Connect and Connect IQ to change the look of the watch is annoying).

Just got this earlier this week. Took it on my first hike and it did a phenomenal job. Tracked well. Easy to read the screen in the woods. It picked up GPS very quickly (about 15 seconds) Once you get used to the interface on the watch and the app on my phone, it starts to get easier to use. I'm glad I got the Venu 2s. It fits on my wrist well without being too large and it's very easy to see in broad daylight. It is a serious piece of hardware for someone who wants to track a lot of data about their health and exercises I'm planning on using it for my hiking, walking, biking, kayaking, and of course as a very stylish watch with a round face that looks very natural.

I got this for my birthday which isn?t till June, but my old watch died and my Garmin came right in time. So far so good and I can actually see the time and all the great features. I also purchased the warranty just in case. So far so good. It was a good purchased!

I switched from my Apple Watch ( really user friendly) to the garmin, I loved the style & battery life! But it doesn?t give me incoming calls or texts. I?ve done all the troubleshooting and still nothing. I hear other people don?t have issues with it. I?m giving it a try for a couple weeks. There are so many screens and places to go to get to things, it?s confusing compared to the Apple. But did I mention the battery life? Lol I can actually track my sleep!

Exactly what I was looking for. I didn't want a tracker that required a monthly subscription, but wanted the features they offered such as blood oxygen level, workout tracking, sleep and energy level.

My husband got this for me to be abke to track the exercise I do during the day and it has been amazing. It syncs with my food tracker and I don't need to carry my cellphone everywhere, so I can exercise without extra weight.

I had a very simple fitness watch die recently and tried two other options before ultimately choosing this one. It was a very easy and obvious decision too. The battery life is fantastic, it tracks my heart rate accurately, fits my small wrist and looks beautiful, and has the right amount of features. I can count on it working (had issues with my previous one and the two others I tried). The app is great as well. I was looking for something to track my workouts, heart rate, steps and sleep mainly, but the other features (weather, intensity minutes, stress, body battery, calendar and notification) are awesome to have. There are so many beautiful watch faces to choose from too. I would HIGHLY recommend this one to people because no other one compares (and I tried them lol).

I have only had this watch for about a week, and I switched from Apple to Garmin. I was worried about not answering texts/calls from my watch, but it has been an easy transition and definitely not a dealbreaker. I haven?t used the hiking or rowing yet, but the run, strength, and HIIT features work very well. The Garmin Connect app is awesome, and I LOVE that I can wear my watch for days between charges. My Apple Watch only lasted 16 hrs! Great job, Garmin!

This replaces a Fitbit Sense, which never fit my wrist very well. I?m still getting used to the user interface, but the controls are well placed and well thought out. I really like the details of the workouts. All in all, after more than 10 years of being a Fitbit customer, I?m now a happy Garmin customer

This watch is wonderful for someone like me, who is health conscious but not necessarily looking to compete professionally. Great battery life and very intuitive UI. This is probably the best beginner/first watch for anyone looking to better their health and lifestyle.

The only problem I?m having is being able to see my text messages on my watch. I?ve literally tried everything to get notification alerts on my watch and I?m getting nothing.

I purchased this about a week ago and have been very impressed. I looked at the Fenix 6s line as well as the Venu 2S and this was all I needed without a lot of extras I wouldn't use and didn't need. I find it to be the perfect size for my wrist and probably one of the most "feminine" fitness-oriented smartwatches out there. In doing research I read a lot of negative reviews about the response to touch or wrist movement being slow, but I have found the exact opposite to be true. This thing is incredibly responsive and really accurate! It has allowed me to get greater insight in a simple to understand format.

I got this about a week ago and I am extremely impressed with everything it tracks. The only thing is I think it?s a little bit less simple than the forerunner in terms of device navigation from option to option.

I was torn between this and the solar instinct (definitely not apples to apples). I wanted a watch with long battery life, ability to track activities, and ability to view texts. I was tempted by the instinct solar with it's crazy battery life but the drawback was the lack of color screen. The venu 2s has a shorter battery life but it's still really long for a smartwatch (up to 11 days). I've only had it a few days but so far I've used it to track walks and a kayaking trip. I never knew how far I would go when on the water but everything is spelled out nicely on the app, right down to the number of strokes I made. I'm glad I made this purchase and it fits my lifestyle right now. The instinct solar is a more masculine watch whereas the venu can go either way. I'm planning on hiking the Appalachian Trail in a few years and I'll buy the instinct solar for when I do that.

I have had an apple watch for many years but was tired of it looking like a sports watch. I wanted something that was beautiful and could be worn to work, out to dinner, and to work out. I found the perfect blend of features and looks in the Garmin Venu 2s!!! I love that it track literally everything and it looks professional and classy! Thank you Garmin!
