Bought this knife for cutting off anchor lines that get wrapped around reef structures etc. The quick release is perfect and secures the knife in place with no issues at all. Knife is solid with no weak points and holds its edge extremely well. Definitely would purchase again ?üëç?üèº

Knife seems good so far. Have been diving with it twice and it has shown no sign of rust, after normal rinse and dry. Seems like a very good value for the price.

Well made, solid and strong. Will get many years of use out of this?Ķ.

Cressi made the terrible decision to switch the Borg from 304 stainless steel (marine grade) to 420 "Japanese" stainless steel (most commonly used for cooking knives). The new blade rusts DURING a dive. Cressi just trying to save a few bucks on their end while ripping off the customer. Highly recommend looking to a different knife that actually uses marine grade stainless steel like 304.

Excellent dive knife - not too big,...not too small. Pointy as heck, came out of the box sharp enough to shave with. Effective line cutter. Exposed blunt metal butt (heh, heh), good for knocking against your tank for signaling, or to use as a makeshift hammer (ask me how I know). Excellent handle - easy to both hold and get a strong, non-slip grip. Stainless steel construction resists corrosion (though do give it a good rinks after a day's worth of salty dives). Well designed sheath that is easy to mount, easy to draw, and easy to re-sheath and secure the blade. Bought a second one as a back up. Would buy again for myself or as a gift for another diver. Quality, well-designed, dive knife at an very reasonable price.

The knife is a bit heavy and bulky although overall quality and finish are very good. As per personal preference I would like knife blade to be a bit thinner and knife handle to be a notch thicker. It somehow does not fit and balance in my hand as a good knife do. Locking mechanism feels less positive and reassuring than expected.

This is a very well made, comfortable to grip knife. And it was delivered sharp which is a huge bonus. The sheath is very heavy duty and the straps are great and the strap system actually holds the buckle in place. It's the best knife I've owned so far, And is significantly better than my previous dive knife. It's also easy to unsheathe with one hand even with gloves.

I'm not sure what the logical reason to even make a dive knife that rusts is, but if I would have known this about this, these is no way that I would have bought this knife. I diligently rinse all my equipment after each dive, and I was shocked how quickly this knife started to rust, which was immediately after my first dive with it. Epic fail in design.

Really beyond what I expected. The price is surprisingly low for a knife this good.

Handles very well, even with gloves on! Blade is very sharp and I like the use of the upper serrated edge and line cutter. The blade fits evenly & locks in the provided knife sheath, which is constructed of a very durable plastic.

This knife began rusting within 30 minutes of taking it out of the water on our first trip with it. Very disappointing.
