Great gun but the Tahitian style spear tip is a must. Not the threaded style tip it comes with.

Amazing spear for the price. Powerful, yet easy to use. Great for smaller to medium size game. Not easy to take apart to travel with, but all in all, would recommend. Can always add/change sling for more power.

This my first speargun and it has performed very well. It?s a great gun for smaller reef fish and getting under tight ledges. I?ve had it for years and still use it occasionally even though I?ve since upgraded to more powerful guns.

I bought this as an upgrade from a sling. its perfect for snorkeling reefs and has a solid 10 ft kill radius. I was impressed with the power of the single band. Would definitely recommend as entry level spear gun.

Great little spear gun. Compact. Only complaint is that it does not come with rigging instructions.

This gun does not come with a shock cord or line. The line attaches to the butt-end of the shaft, so the best solution I found was a 2mm mono, looped and crimped to the shaft, with shock-line attached to the mussel. All said, tack on an extra $30-$40 dollars to the price for rigging. As far as performance, it might be a single-band, but it has true-aim and still has good power. It's probably best for smaller reef fish like snapper. If you shoot a decent sized grouper, aim well because a glancing shot might not penetrate far enough for the barb to go through, and no one wants to injure fish that aren't harvested. This would make a great 2nd gun for your float as well. It's light and positively buoyant. I was very happy with this as my intro-gun to spearfishing.

This is my first speargun. I purchased the 75cm gun. It is simple to operate with a simple and effective safety. Very accurate. It is fairly hard to load. I would recommend a loading pad for your chest. It is quite painful without one. So far I have speared mangrove snapper, spadefish, sheepshead, and lesser amberjack. I was able to hit them anywhere I wanted. Just point and shoot. Longest shot so far was about 6-7 ft and was no problem. Everything you need is in the box. Except crimps for the shooting line. The gun floats when the spear is not attached.

Good for close reef and rock formations. Hard hitting and extended flopper holds fish well.

I know it is very hard to find a review on this gun since it is so new, but I thought I would help you guys out. I bought the 75cm version and absolutely love it, I live in San Diego so the majority of spearing I do is relatively close to shore and in the kelp beds. The gun has about 7-9ft of range with the one band on it to make an effective kill, I would recommend adding another band though which will add power at those longer distances. It is very easy to control and move in the water as well. Very sturdy but light gun, great for any beginner, and for that price you can't beat it.

Great little spear gun. Compact. Only complaint is that it does not come with rigging instructions.
