That's the point (no pun intended) of having the pencil with you when you dive. These are standard "golf" pencils that you can find pretty much anywhere when the original gets too short.

good for new divers

Used this slate often when first learning to dive. The plastic slate material is a little thin, but very durable. The plastic clip broke where it bent eventually so I got a slightly smaller/thicker glow in the dark blank slate instead. It was a good product while I used it.

Great accessory to have

I have bought several of these slates. They are great for my students to keep track of their dives. I added a piece of surgical hose to keep from losing the pencil. They are able to transfer all the information over to their log books. I am going to stock up on more of these to include in my student kit when they buy their books.
