Shopper : Will these boots keep your feet dry?darrick c : Hello, no, this boot will not keep your feet dry. The only item I have that is designed to keep your feet dry is a full body drysuit.

The heels are reinforced with a heavy gauge rubber material that also protetects the toe area. These boots are heavy duty! They do not fit in the fins I have, which are a lightweight Cassini snorkeling version. They will however protect your feet from rocks and rough terrain as well as keeping your feet warm from cold water. They have a heavy duty zipper and Velcro cover to protect the zipper from slipping open and making a good seal around your ankle with wetsuit bottoms. Best boots I have ever owned. Needs a good size heavy duty fin to mate with.BOBBY L : I personally have never noticed anything digging into my heels. They seem to do a good job in being soft and flexible but at same time offer warmth and some rigid protection. The only comment I can think of is they seem a little narrow in size.Steve S : Yes. As you can see in the photo, the hard rubber comes up the back of the boot right where the spring strap would be. This helps avoid the strap digging into your heel.MICHAEL T : Yep. Protection and comfort

I purchased these as a backup bootie as I hate that most boots take so long to dry?..nothing worse than having to put on a cold wet pair of booties. As with the family of Neosport products, these are well made, provide the right amount of comfort and protection, and have the right amount of stretch.

Comfortable to Wear/Great foot (soles and toes) protection.

My husband loves his new boots to kayak in and to protect his feet from the rocky gravel or dirt ramps we often have to launch from. HE ordered up 1 size over his usual size 11 shoes and they fit perfectly.

Not for swimming!

I purchased these for cold open water swimming but they are impossible to kick in. Although they keep feet warm, you can forget about swimming in them.

Cut a little large, maybe a half size bigger than I'm used to.

Haven't used them yet, but they look descent. They seem to be cut a little larger than I'm used to. I usually take a size 13 1/2 work shoe and a size 14 tennis shoe, both in extra wide EE. These booties I ordered in size 14 and they are definitely 14 or better. They are a little big for me, but I'm afraid a 13 might be to tight, so I'm sticking with them.

Great for cold water

These have been great for stand-up paddle boarding in winter weather. I have used these with wool socks down to 10 degrees F, with the boots fully soaked, and still plenty warm for 2-3 hours. Good quality zipper. No issues.

Good dive boot

the boot is great but the sizing on the charts in not accurate for this one. the boot is a little less that one size smaller than the chart suggested. i called and was told they run small for woment (I bought this for my wife)
