Rock solid dependability at virtually any depth and any temperature.

I bought this reg many years ago when I was getting certified. It started as the usual octo and eventually moved to a RG2V (H2Odyssey) valve/first stage on my pony. It has been rock solid over the years. It's been to 106 feet in 42°F water and breathed perfectly. My buddys high end reg freeflowed and we had to abort. Additionally it is super easy to service. Well winthin the skills of anyone that can read instructions and change the air filter in you car.

Reliable octopus

I like this octopus - the yellow detail makes it easy to find, even at depth in lake water. I'd still be using but upgraded to an Air2.

Great for the price

Allows you to adjust the flow rates. Bought this and the 2nd stage to match. 2nd stage worked great. Didn't need to use this on my dives but when testing it before each dive it worked just as good.

Get what you paid for

The quality of the product feel a bit flimsy and cheap, but considering the price i guess that is expected. In the first few tests i did in the pool it seemed to be purging a lot, but it calmed down while in the ocean - maybe it was just a it being new thing. What i do advise to make sure you keep checking - when washing the reg the diaphragm has a tendency to bend and get stuck between itself and the plastic wall that touches your chin. I had it happen a couple of times when i did not notice it and went under only to find out that i was getting mouthfuls of water from it.

Works as it’s supposed to.

Very happy with the performance does what it needs to do. Feels a little flimsy and cheap but all around does what it needs to do. I would deff reccomend it unless you can afford the scuba pro line. During my open water course I was practicing some skills changing over to my back up reg which was this item. Air felt smooth breathing was perfect. No leaks of air. Excellent item expect for the way it feels In the hand but then again who cares, does what it needs to do! Great price as well! Deff buy it.

Simple and effective octo

Great Octo for the price!

This Cressi Octo seems to work great. I tested in in the pool at my LDS. Did not free flow, and breathed great. A great Octo for the money. Leisure Pro delivered it promptly, like they have done with the other dive equipment I have purchased from them

Purchased as a safe second for my 13 year old grandson who recently completed his Basic Open Water Certification. Had to purchase a swivel t adapter from a local dive shop as the old U.S. Divers Conshelf 12 I loaned him didn't have enough ports, but it should work just fine for him now. We haven't used it yet, but plan to during rhe next few weeks and I am sure it will fit his needs. I recommend a neck strap or snap hook for keeping it conveniently located, unless you have a handy BC pocket...

The XS Octopus is a lightweight, high performance second stage regulator. The XS has a Venturi dive/pre-dive switch which will help control the sensitivity of the regulator when not in use, yet when switched from the pre-dive to dive position the regulators performance will instantly increase. The XS Octopus has a dependable downstream demand valve mechanism for reliable performance. The XS Octopus is equipped with a 33" (84cm) 3/8" threaded hose, has a yellow front cover for easy identification in an out-of-air-emergency. The regulator has a soft and comfortable liquid silicone mouthpiece and the housing is made of durable impact resistant hi-tech polymers. The regulator weighs 7.27 oz (206g) without the hose and 12.7 oz (359g) with the hose. Regulator is certified to Annex B EN 250.2014 standards. Regulator is Italian made.
