Simply a great warm water travel BC. I have about 75 dives on mine and it still looks great. Neither the fabric, nor the stitching is worn. Being so lightweight, it's super easy to travel with and don and doff. Mine did not come with weight pockets, but the new model does.

I had not been diving since 1975 a d decided to start diving in 2021. The equipment today is a lot different from what I used back in the day. I wanted to stay pretty simple and also wanted something that I could pack and n my luggage and not weigh a ton. This has worked out great for me. I added some weight packs that I put on my tank straps. Works great to perfect your trim. Zeagle also has great customer service. I misplaced my mouth pierce that also has the inflator and deflator on it. I couldn?t find it after I cleaned my BC. Emailed Zeagle and they sent me the part number so I could order a replacement, turns out I found it and didn?t need to order another one. They were quick to respond to my inquiry. Bottom line, it?s a great BC and is really easy to travel with!

This BCD takes the minimalist concept to its logical conclusion and allowed me to reimagine my bulky dive bag as a hard side carryon. My medium weighted 4 lbs. with no hard plates, no separate weight pockets (Having lost a weight pocket on a recent trip, that can become a problem finding a replacement) It has small weight pouches, which are designed to dump in an emergency. No bulky cumberbund just a small strap around your waist and another around the chest. The security of two tank straps. This is my warm water solution. And a bonus is I was able to mount a Zeagle octo/inflator by merely screwing off the inflator and screwing on the new unit and swapping out inflator hoses. Simple and streamlined.

wow this is a life changing BCD. I was able to pack my octo, booties, mask, snorkel, and this BCD in a SMALL hard shell overhead bag. Only my fins and dive knife went into checked luggage. This is ideal if you've ever flown anywhere and had your dive bag get 'lost' by the airline. Having said that it is important to know that it is quite different than the typical BCDs out there. to begin with the wing bladder design makes it very easy for you to get horizontal under water and your control is great. There are however no pockets, only 2 plastic D rings and limited attachment points for toys. This is probably the most important point to make; if you are like a christmas tree with all kinds of decorations hanging from you (and we all know some of you are out there) than this is NOT the BCD for you. If you want a solid light weight BCD this one should be on your consider list. I just returned from a 2 week trip to Bonaire where I did 2+ shore dives a day at time walking up to 50 yards with gear on and I could not understand why so many other people were having such a hard time. Fantastic, just fantastic. p.s. I tried all kinds of maneuvers to try and get the release valve to let water into the bladder and could not pull this off. I suspect there may have been a flaw in the other reviewer's BCD. I am keeping mine. Just home my son doesn't claim it.

This BC is for travel only, not even good for a backup BC. The bladder seams to take on water more than my other BC?s and the Velcro weight pouch came loose and I lost 8 lbs of weights. The worst part was it almost caused an uncontrolled accent. I wouldn?t buy this BC again if I had it to do again.

Took a trip to Cozumel and loved the size and weight savings in my dive gear bag. Diving with it was fine. It?s definitely minimal, with no pockets and few D rings, but I didn?t need them. I?m happy with the BCD and the price.

Very light weight Travel BCD. very comfortable, but as a bigger guy I added a belt extender for just that little bit more. Fine for warm to moderate temps. The 30lb lift capacity is good for 3mm wetsuits, I don't think it would be enough for a full 5mm or 7mm needed at deeper depths.The 2x D-rings are very small, which can be annoying. At $199 this was still a very good deal, and makes for solid travel or backup unit. But, given my preference, I would have rather paid the $450 for the upgraded Covert XT model that has a 42lb lift capacity and molle attachement system. But, it was on extended back order at the time. I'm still happy with this, and plan to use alot.

The idea is great. Lightweight bcd that has all the essential pockets. However, there is a great design flaw with the exhaust valve. It basically requires you to be upright or upside down because of the shape of the bladder, otherwise the air would never be released and instead lets in water. Unfortunately I had to return this.

I purchased the Zeagle Covert BCD in March of 2020. Life became busy and my first dive was this past weekend June 13, 2020. I dove in an abandoned iron mine in northern Wisconsin. The temp. was 54 degrees on average. The BCD performed flawlessly, this is my first time using a wing style BCD and it took no time to get used to it. I added trim pockets for some back weighting on the lower tank strap.

Great for traveling. Folds nearly flat easily. Take care of the rubber seal ring when you remove the inflator hose for flat pack. Also be careful of the Velcro flaps retaining the weights as you will be annoyed when one accidentally opens as you jump in and can’t descend.

I didn't think I'd like such a simple BCD, but I'm really enjoying it. It's very comfortable, and I've been able to add a few inexpensive lightweight attachment points to it for safety sausage, octo holder, etc. Camera clips well to one of the two plastic D-rings. I added a couple trim pockets to the straps, but have found no need yet to add any external pockets to it. And it packs WAY better than my old non-travel BCD.

Wonderful! Very happy! Light and functional, perfect for traveling. Also very minimal so it doesn't feel bulky in the water. If you add in a pocket or two for flashlight, safety sausage or other accessories it can easily be your main BCD - not just for traveling. (I use two extra, one attached to waist strap and one around leg.

I really did not like the BCD at all. I tried it twice, after that I rented one of the boat's BCDs. It is a "wing" meaning the tank rolls around like crazy, and as a photographer, I really disliked it. I had a Zeagle Zena before, and I'm going back to it. I do not recommend this, but if you like a wing, I'm happy to sell it to you.

I bought this BCD for travel. It is very compact and light it will easily fit in my carry-on baggage when I travel. I have only used in the pool so far but seems very comfortable and stable. So far it is everything I have hoped it would be.

Great little basic BCD for travel! It is lightweight, comfortable, and packs nicely. The power inflator and the tank straps are a bit short; therefore, it is not the best for my regular local area diving- where I use wider tanks and a drysuit.

Overall if you are looking for a bare bones BCD you will love this one. I however wanted something with pockets and this had none. I am going to purchase the scout that has a couple. As always, leisure pro is so helpful on returning things. For that reason I give it a five. My fault not knowing my needs

I received the bcd and when I compared it to my Ranger it was a suitable alternative. For a travelling BCD it is awesome however I would suggest you buy it one size bigger than your normal BCD. If you are used to a 45LBS lift then you will need to adjust to the lower capacity. The straps are a bit narrow and I would suggest a small d- ring to facilitate better grip and tug on the shoulder straps.

Compact, easy to travel with, very nice fit. The great quality you would expect from Zeagle. Probably my favorite BC to date. There isn’t a cumber bun, which I didn’t mind at all - but thought I’d mention it, as some buyers may not like.

I have not dived this BCD yet but I like the fit of it. It is lightweight and minimalist which is what I wanted in a travel bcd. Appears well made and I was able to fit my AirSource octo/inflator onto it. Planning a couple of dives in Oct in Roatan and Belize.
