Looks well made, certainly is bright orange, just too big for anything except going out looking for line to cut

Nothing wrong with the product out of the box. I have not had it in the water. The knife is much much larger than I thought it was going to be. Probably will not use it.

I dive to clean up at a fishing pier. Hence I encounter tons of line and other entanglement items. I needed an item that could cut a garbage bag load of fishing line as quick and easily as possible. This cutter is perfect for fishing lines and nets. The blades are standard SS utility knife type so they rust in salt water. I wish they had titanium blades as an option.

[...] It is held in place by two heavy duty rubber bands under my Halcyon Eclipse Wing Inflator Hose. It is easily accessable by both hands in many different positions. With the rubber bands, it can be donned easily.NOTE: To keep the blades from rusting, spray them with Rustoleum Clear Coat. Just remember to tape off the actual cutting edge of the blade to keep that as sharp as possible. This will with proper rinsing techniques, keep the condition of this line cutter in optimum performance for years to come.

It does what it says. Make sure you have a sheath for it - I happened to have something from a utility tool that fit perfectly - otherwise buy one that comes with it.
