Spear fishing
This shaft came with a flapper on it. When I ordered it that was unclear so I thought I was going to have to drill it to add one but it came with one so all is happy. Diving and fish spearing my supper is awesome.
This JBL shaft is for the Explorer 24 Lightning Spear Gun (see SKU: JBL4D24). The JBL748SBF is 48" (122 cm) long with a 9/32" (7.11mm) diameter and comes equipped with a point and wing so it's ready to go when you are. Having spare parts for your gun or sling is the only way to assure you won't get skunked on a spear fishing trip. Constructed of corrosion resistant 17-4 (spring) stainless each shaft is hand-tuned for alignment then heat-treated for maximum hardness to reduce flex and provide optimum energy transfer. Spear shaft makes a great save-a-dive kit item.
