I used it straight forward, just put it on the side of the GoPro camera inside the housing and close the housing, before when I used to dive and there were temp difference in the water the camera lens get fogged, and I won't notice it until I return home and watch the movie, now the problem is gone with the wind.

Insert these Anti-Fog Inserts into any GoPro waterproof housing or dive housing to prevent fogging in cold and humid environments. Inserts will last up to four uses. To dry out and reuse, heat inserts on a pan in the oven at 300 Degree F for five minutes. Store in an airtight bag.
