Gets tangled easily. Is hard to put on while wearing gloves. Length is perfect for mucked up water. Might work better in warmer water where gloves will be thinner. Also works best on non-dominant wrist.

Bought it so my wife doesn't get scared being drift away when we go on vacation. It gives my wife a sense of security. I have not use it yet but it looked solid.

Sometimes we must dive in less than perfect conditions. Not all dives are made in crystal clear water in the tropics with 100' (30m) visibility. When you must dive in conditions that either are confined due to low visibility or in an environment that silt and mud can drop visibility rapidly and without warning you need to use a buddy lanyard. This 9' (2.75m) long Buddy Lanyard, attaches to your buddy on the surface, in low visibility diving or other adverse conditions and allows the dive team to stay together regardless of these conditions. Buddy Lanyard is bright yellow colored polypropylene for easy identification and is equipped with hook and loop wrist straps for attachment to each diver. Buddy Lanyard makes a great save-a-dive-kit item.
