It's the one most commonly seen here in Texas.DAN H : This VIP sticker should be recognized by any fill station. Most dive shops offering VIPS, Hydro's and Fills are small and cannot afford to have their own VIP stickers printed with their name, logo, etc.; so this VIP sticker is a viable option, allowing them to still provide a quality service to great customers like you. The simple answer is no, you don't have to stand next to your tank when it is being filled. In fact I'd be surprised if your dive shop would allow this! Hope this help; safe diving!

Shopper : What years do these stickers cover now?MARK G : Visual inspection stickers are 1 year from the month and year punched, These stickers last date is December 2015. So you will past visual until Dec 2016! They are still good as long as you use them anytime this year.
Shopper : Do you still have to get the tank inspected by a dive shop ? or could you inspect your own tank ?BRUCE M : The sticker is intended to be used by certified inspectors. Unless you've been trained and have all the proper inspection tools, take it to a dive shop.PHILLIP L : The sticker indicates that the inside and outside of the tank, as well as the tank valve have both been properly inspected for potential safety issues. The sticker is a visual way for shop owners and boat docks to know that the tank is safe to fill. If the sticker is applied by someone that is not trained in tank inspection, this could put the fill station operator in more danger than is normal. In reality, some shops will not fill a tank if the sticker is not from some sort of "authorized" dive shop or inspection company. The tank should be inspected by a qualified inspector that is usually found at a dive shop. If the person is not a certified inspector and does not know what to look for and how to safely check the tank for safety issues the sticker should not be put on the tank. Potential legal issue here for the tank owner!!!!! So in this case, YES, the tank should still be inspected by a shop or some authorized inspection company!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!CATHARINE VAN D : I have dive shop that has their name on. Safer and no it is done correctly. I can do vision inspection but, some people rather have a sticker with a company name.GUY M : If you are qualified do it yourself if not spend the $10-15 . Your life depends on your gear being properly cleaned and maintained. Many variables go into a tank inspection steel or al. nitrox or air ......ect. Safe Diving...(^^^)BRUCE P : Dive tanks should be inspected by a certified tank inspector, not just any Scuba shop. Ask your local Dive shop if their technician has been certified. DAVID H : Tanks should be inspected by a certified inspector. that could be at a dive shop, or an inspector that is certified and insured. I am a PSI certified inspector and was inspecting tanks for a dive shop.NANCY P : Yes, if you have taken a tañk inspection course and are certified. Another way is too take an equipment course. MDEA and other organizations offer these courses. NancyJUNE H : Inspection must be done by PSI-PCI Inspector.

stuck with stickers

I had to buy these stickers because Leisure Pro failed to include them with my tank purchases. Small but irritating inconvenience. Only three stars because it should have been a no charge as a customer service.

For Qualified Use

Standard inspection sticker. Sticks to tanks well. Do not place on tanks unless you are qualified to determine if the tank is fit for use, as this can put the filling staff at extreme risk while filling and you at risk of contaminated air while diving.

Happy with purchase

I like that they go to 2015 and not 2012 as in the picture on the web site. Beware that some dive shops do not honor them unless a dive shop's name and address is on them - that did the inspection.

Decent Stock But

Nice stock, does last very well. However, not all dive places will honor this sticker as a valid VIP. A lot of places now REQUIRE any VIP sticker to have a REAL dive shop name/information printed on the sticker, along with the PSI Certification number of the inspector.

Well made and functional

As VIP stickers go, these are pretty decent. Durable (last about a year, which is as long as they need to last). Clear and bright. Could provide a clearer method of certifying the tank as O2 clean, but otherwise great.
