Works as advertised

Works as advertised. Steady shots, better than head mounts. Some people may have "framing" issues, but generally easy to figure out where you are pointing the camera. Easily adjustable underwater for angled shots; stays out of exhalation bubbles very well. By the third dive, I had generally forgotten it was there, save for positioning for shots or opportunistic megafauna shots. Overall, very happy with purchase. Can also be used as a mount on hiking gear; did 7 miles with it mounted on a frame pack as a test.

Not perfect, but very nice

It is a very nice mount. Holds the GoPro camera securely to the BCD and it feels very sturdy/strong and I have no fear of it breaking. My only dislike is that once in the water, I cannot see the camera and cannot adjust it. I look down, but my mask skirt just blocks the camera. Some recordings have everyone's heads chopped off and other things just outside the recording area. Great mount, could be better with a slightly longer arm. I recommend the Mount Extension Kit and then you can move it around and adjust it while you dive.

Z Gear's Scuba GoPro Mount will fit a BCD with up to 3.5" (9 cm) strap, above the front D-ring on the BCD's shoulder, giving you a hand-free, over-the-shoulder view of your dive. This hands-free mount allows you to get steadier filming and avoid the side-to-side, dizzying shots you get from mask or head mount. It is also very easy to reach to change filming positions from horizontal to hover modes.
