It's durable, has modern features (venturi valve, air flow toggle), and breathes easily. I've seen some reviews say that the ease of breathing is incredible, and that hasn't been my experience. Don't get me wrong, it's great, but I haven't seen much difference from well maintained rental gear that I've used. Zeagle uses braided lines which I like because they bend a little easier. The reg free flowed a lot at first, even with the venturi valve set at pre-dive, but eventually calmed down after I dove with it a few times (so don't freak out). It also made a few whiny noises at first, particularly when I dove in ~50 degree water, but that also went away after being broke in. The mouth piece is very comfortable and I do not have any jaw pain or tooth displacement after diving. All in all I'm super happy with the F8 and would highly recommend it. This review should apply equally to the F8 Octo, which I also have and have the same sentiments about.

This is the best regulator I've ever used. The sensation felt like when I think of inhale, the air flowed in effortlessly. Have not gone deep yet, or dove cold water with it, but am sure it performs. The reg is light, and not hard on the mouth. So far, this is my FAVORITE!

It's my first non-rental reg so of course I love it but it really is great. The flex hose doesn't pull on my 2nd stage so super comfortable, breathes super easy down to 120' (and I'm sure far beyond that). My girlfriend has an Atomic Z3 and while I haven't actually dove with it, I briefly tried breathing it while on a dive (can't remember the depth) and found the Zeagle F8 at least as good or better. Plus, the Zeagle F8 aesthetics look totally bad ass so that puts it over the top ;-).

I purchased this regulator with the Halo BC Bundle and it's worked amazing for me so far! I've dove with this regulator in cold water, warm water, and a couple of deep dives. It's worked flawlessly in all of them, and I never once worried about it's performance.

Worked well in Key west. Mouth piece not too invasive or tough to hold for long periods of time. Quality materials. Blah blah blah, good product.

I excitedly opened the box. Beautiful. A nearby dive shop was having open pool night a weekacyer the reg arrived. One of the instructors showed me how to use the venturi lever and how to adjust the air flow. Into the pool I went to play with my new toy. Got it set just right. Now ready to use it on my dive in Key West and Cozumel over Christmas. aving openpool night

Well worse the investment! Extremely happy with the performance in cold and warm water. I am an intermediate diver and this is like owning a Rolls Royce for me compared to what I have previously used! Extremely pleased with the flow setting and flexibility. Both Reg and Octo look sleek which is a bonus!
