They need to change the “Fit Zeagle BCD's” wording in the Features section of the product page to “Fit’s most Zeagle BCD’s”… The Zeagle Lumbar Pad does NOT work on the Zeagle Covert XT BCD without some major modifications. First: The pad has a Velcro strip on the top, but the Covert XT doesn’t have Velcro in the corresponding area and it doesn’t stick to the material on the inside of the BC. Second: The pad has a strap towards the tip of both of the “wings” to slide a cummerbund through, along with grommet holes on the bottom of the straps to secure to the grommet holes on Zeagle BCD’s. However, the Covert XT doesn’t have a cummerbund to run through the straps and there are no grommet holes on the bottom edge of the Covert XT sides to line up with the grommet holes of the pad. The only grommet holes on the BC are on the top edge of the sides, which would fit perfectly if there was a grommet hole at the top of the cummerbund straps like there is in the bottom. It wasn’t a complete waste of money though. With some modifications, I was able to make it work. At first I simply ran a zip-tie around the strap and then through the grommet holes, but then I decided to make a more permanent fix. I ordered a grommet kit which had 5/16 inch grommets and punched one into the top part of both straps. Now there is a grommet hole in the pad to match up with the existing hole on the Covert XT. The pad is EXTREMELY comfortable, so I would still recommend it. But I’m giving it 3 stars because I had to do so much modifying to make it work correctly. It would be an easy fix for Zeagle to add the 2nd grommet holes. From reading reviews, it does fit other Zeagle BC’s, it just doesn’t fit the Covert XT.

Does everything it's supposed to do. Wish I had gotten this years ago for my Ranger. Easy installation. Reason for not giving it 5 stars is that the cushioning material is like an absorbent sponge that only drains so much while hanging to dry. Takes at least three days to come close to drying out. Have to put an item between bottom of pad and body of BC to facilitate air flow and evaporation. My wife has the Zena which fits her like a glove but the built in lumber pad is even harder to dry out because of no way to really separate it from the BC body. It's a ridiculous design flaw that Zeagle should address.

this makes your die so much more comfortable...like a mattress pad....less tiresome at the end of the dive.

This little item is responsible for making my Zeagle Brigade 33% more comfortable out of the water. Its amazing how much more comfort I have with this, especially when carrying 70+ lbs in weight and gear.

This product made my Zeagle BC very comfortable. Its like having a pillow between you and your tank and doesn't really increase your buoyancy. This product is large and takes up about half a BC size but is well worth it.
