To create this regulator, Zeagle collaborated with Atomic Aquatics, introducing over 20 enhancements to the inner workings, materials, external controls, and aesthetics. The outcome is remarkable - the F8 offers superior breathing capability, increased efficiency, and longer lifespan compared to any other regulator Zeagle has developed before. The precision high-pressure valve, with its conical shape, enhances reliability and durability and improves the regulator's responsiveness and performance, ensuring optimal breathing rates at all times.
First Stage Features:
• First stage has a dry-sealed spring chamber to stop freezing at water temps below 40 degrees F

Introducing Zeagle's new flagship regulator model, the F8, which takes its name from the well-established Flathead series. This US-made regulator showcases over 20 new improvements, making it Zeagle's best-performing regulator yet. Designed for all types of diving, the F8's low-profile design minimizes its extension above the tank valve and directs low-pressure hoses to the sides for optimal hose routing. It's compatible with yoke valves.
The F8's first stage is a black chrome plated marine brass, environmentally sealed, balanced diaphragm design. This ensures that no internal parts are exposed to contaminants like salt, sand, or chlorine, resulting in corrosion-free service for years. Its conical precision stainless steel high-pressure valve and advanced polymer seat provide enhanced reliability, service life, and performance at all breathing rates.
The first stage features direct airflow, 2 high-pressure (HP) 7/16" threaded ports, and 5 low-pressure (LP) 3/8" threaded ports for gauges and additional accessories. The second stage is lightweight, compact, and comfortable, with adjustable resistance controls, free-flow control, and built-in anti-freezing features. It's manufactured from flexible thermoplastic, elastomeric polymer, and silicone rubber. The second stage also features a new case design that is smaller, lighter, and more impact-resistant.
Additional updates include a new heat sink for improved cold dissipation, a zirconium-plated inlet tube for increased corrosion resistance, and an improved inhalation diaphragm. The F8 also has a patented seat-saving orifice, a new low-pressure second stage seat, and a super alloy second stage spring. The standard hose is 30" (76cm) long and 3/8" threaded. The complete regulator weighs approximately 41 oz. (1,161 g) with the hose, includes an owner's manual, and is Nitrox ready up to 40% out of the box.
