poor design

Poor design. Will not mount using included screw if single tank adapter in mounted onto backplate. Had to purchase additional screws to clear STA bolts and wingnuts. Even with replacing the STA bolts, the pad has a sloppy fit. Needs attachment points on edges instead of the single center screw hole.

Zeagle???

I was really dissapointed in this backplate pad. I am a Zeagle fan, they always have some of the better quality and reliability. Spend your money wisely, buy another brand that allows more options for tank height, bolts or secures to the backplate on the edges, etc... It does keep the plate off your back though.... for what its worth

Technical divers wear more the one cylinder when diving. It is not on common to carry four or even more. This means a lot of weight for one person to maneuver. Anything to increase comfort with this heavy load is a must for the serious technical diver. This Zeagle Backplate Pad is made from a 1/2" (12.7mm) foam insert surrounded by a Pac-cloth exterior, providing comfort to your metal backplate. The Backplate Pad is attached with the included plastic screw fasteners and the two hook & loop straps which wrap around the waist band of the harness. Designed specifically for Zeagle Backplate's (see SKU: ZGLBP) but may fit other manufacturers backplates.
