Highland by XS Scuba Tec/Rec Harness

The Highland by XS Scuba Tec/Rec Harness is a classic minimalist Hogarthian" harness design. Harness is constructed with a simple continuous weave design can be completely customized with its standard 2" (5.1cm) webbing that can hold a variety of pockets and accessories. The Harness includes hardware for (4) attachment points and comes standard with an adjustable crotch strap. The waist buckle is a traditional stainless-steel latch-style quick release buckle design.

Highland by XS Scuba's stainless-steel back-plate is made from either durable and corrosion resistant 11-gauge (0.115"/2.92mm) 316 grade stainless-steel or 5052 aluminum alloy with a black anodized finish. The stainless -steel back-plate weighs in at 5 lbs. (2.27 kg) and is laser cut for dimensional accuracy. The aluminum back-plate weighs 1.7 lbs. (770 g). To protect the harness webbing, the stainless-steel back-plate has CNC-machined beveled edges and a final polished finish by hand for smooth slots and holes. Back-plate has angled and horizontal slots for "straight" or "cross-over" shoulder strap configurations, mounting holes at 11" (27.9cm) on-center (bottom hole is slotted to facilitate mounting) and slots at bottom for use with 1" or 2" (2.5cm or 5.1cm) crouch straps. For attachment of accessories the Back-plate has 3/8" (9.5mm) accessory mounting holes along both sides. There is no need for a separate back-plate when switching from doubles to a single cylinder set up. Back-plate has cam band slots for single tank diving without the need for a single tank adapter.
