JAMES M : Does this pocket work with the xs scuba rubber weight belt?Mario C : Most rubber belts will be harder to weave through it as the sleeve is tight.
Shopper : How does the Velcro Front work?JOAQUIN M : It attaches to the tank strap without interfering with its fit or grip. Holds a weight, to keep the tank down during the last third of a dive, when it's emptier and lighter. The pocket is well built, and drains. Very simple, rugged and works well.JAMES S : I use two on my upper tank strap back next to the BC for trim. The Velcro on the front will hold the end of the strap if it happens reach around to it. The weight pocket works great for me as a trim weight to help me stay more Vertical on the surface.SANDRO M : the tank buckle attaches to the outside velcroRONALD S : The inside of my tank strap has velcro hook, which hooks onto the velcro loop on the front of the pouch. Without the velcro on the weight pouch, my strap wasn't well secured.Steve S : The velcro flap opens up so that you can put this pocket on a belt. If you need to dump the weight in an emergency you can just undo the velcro and let it go.

Go back to a weight belt. More secure, lower center of gravity for shore dives.

Easy to assemble.. I used it on an old style weight belt. A BC weight pouch puts the center of gravity too high for me, and I like the fact that a weight belt doesn't shift around and can be removed separately from BC and tank.

Does the trick

Not sure there's a lot to say about a weight pocket other that it does exactly what it's supposed to. Well made and secure.

They work.

It works, but remember to ensure that the release flap is folded over from the top. A DM in the DR put them on upside down, and they, the weights, fell out as soon as i splashed.

Great tank band trim pocket

I bought one of these to replace a XS Scuba weight pocket that did not have the velcro on the outside of the top flap. The lack of velcro prevented me from safely securing the tank band strap inside of the weight pocket. This weight pocket with the velcro strip solved the problem.

Not sure there's a lot to say about a weight pocket other that it does exactly what it's supposed to. Well made and secure.

This unique weight pocket by XS Scuba is designed to be used in two ways. First it can be used with the XS Scuba Weight Belt (SKU: XSSWB) as an add-on pocket and it also can be used as a trim weight attached to your cylinder cam band. The extra hook loop attached to the front closure of the pocket allows excess webbing from cam band to be attached to the front of the pocket, keeping your profile more streamlined. Pockets are built with 1000-Denier Cordura for durability and long life. Double needle stitching adds to their strength and durability. Pockets hold up to 5 lbs. (2.27 kg) of hard block or shot lead pouches. Pocket is easy to attach by sliding over end of 2" (5.1cm) nylon webbing of the weight belt or cam strap. Pocket is black in color.
