MARK W : Is this item 3/8 thread?RON S : Yes, it is a standard 3/8 low pressure fitting. One note, I installed this and changed to a longer Myflex hose. I noticed a little more effort was required breathing. I'm not usre I it was due to the fitting or hoes, or both. I have a non-swivel fitting to install to see if that was the problem.KENT D : I was told that it was a "standard" reg fitting. The male end fit the Miflex hose I purchased and the female (black) end screwed onto my Aqualung reg. It did not work however for an Oceanic Delta 4 which already has a swivel. That reg has fittings that are non-standard.

Purchased for use on my 7' Miflex primary regulator in Truk. Careful "dry" testing did NOT disclose any leaks.

Great option

Together with 40 inch miflex hose allows for comfortably diving with hose under arm. Avoids snagging in tight places

Works great, do not know for how long.

I need my regulator with as less resistance as possible and before used other systems that tend to leak a lot. Used this one for a whole week in a a trip and worked great so bought one for my son.

Hose no longer pulls the reg when I turn my head

I dive solo and so have a short hose on my primary 2nd stage. The swivel keeps the hose from pulling the reg when I turn my head. Note: I have a Hollis 500SE. The swivel screws into the reg. I had to remove the rubber boot in order to make the connection. No worries - the boot is non-functional and merely cosmetic.
