Shopper : Will this tank holder fit the tank holder on the zena zeagle?MICHAEL H : I don't see why not, since it should fit all tank bands. The velcro closure on the back should fit many widths. But I actually bought a separate band with cam so it would be independent of the main tank strap on the BCD. To me its just easier to remove and apply to the tank for the second dive, etc.JOHN S : I don't own a zena zeagle, so I cannot answer the question. It is a very well built bottle holder. I love it.
Shopper : how many minutes of air is in this tank?GREG S : Depends on your breathing rate and depth. It is an emergency reserve only. If you ever need it then something has gone really wrong and you will need to end the dive ASAP.JURIJ L : This is incorrect question. Please obtain training to understand basic of scuba-diving. How long gas supply last depend on various things: depth, individual air consumption, stress level, etc.JOE M : Uh, that all depends on your breathing rate. However, you shouldn't have any problems getting at least 5 minutes out of it even if you suck allot of air.MICHAEL H : Well that depends on 2 things: the size of the tank...but more importantly you depth. For most general diving I like the 19 ft3 size. For very deep dives the 30 ft3. If its <60 ft then the 13ft3.
HENRY M : Is the 19 bag long enough? I have one by sea soft and it is too short.PATRICK H : I have a Luxfer 19 and it was not long enough to attach the Velcro straps.K R J : It fits my Catalina 19 just fine. Comes up to just where the tank neck starts to taper. The straps criss-cross over the next to hold it in. I was a bit concerned early on that it loght loosen up and slip out but its never happened in the 8 or so dives. KJJOE M : Yes it is. It is a very snug fit too so you do not have to worry about it falling out at all.MICHAEL H : Well it fits my Catalina 19ft3 nice and snug...you have to be patient when inserting the tank into it, it's quite tight. Granted I use this more to protect the tank than as an actual harness. While it holds ok via the main tank strap, I found there was too much play, so I ended up buying the X Bracket and looped the clamps around the nylon. Now its secure.
michael w : does this come with straps to attach to cylinder?LARRY W : The straps it comes with fit under fabric tank straps and have vecro so its easier to get it on. Much better than metal bands and since I fly with my poney (valve out) much lighter -I leave it on the poney.MARISSA L : The cylinder slips tightly into the bag and has two Velcro straps on top to secure the cylinder from falling out! To attach the cylinder and bag to your main tank you use the BCD strap and two provided Velcro straps to hold it together.

Does the job, but not safely

Waste of money. The tank is just too heavy to be held this way and flaps around. My suggestion is to just bite the bullet and pay up for a solid one. This is a cheap solution but not a safe one.

Nice Pony Bag

I use this bag with a 19 c.f. Luxfer bottle for deep dive training. I like the straps to attach to a tank and the option to connect to the tank band. I fixed the straps to provide a carry handle and a place to tie the back to a descent line. It fits tightly so there is no worry about the tank coming out. I will also be arranging the tank straps to secure a regulator hose.

XS Scuba Pony Bag

Straps are too small for Faber 19 CU bottles. I had to add velcro straps to make them work. I ordered 2 and had to modify both. Return shipping and restocking fees would have been more $$ than a refund. If you have Faber pony bottles try another brand

Xs Scuba Pony Bag

The concept is wonderful, but the bag does not fit the 19 cf pony tank properly. Spoke to manufacturer after purchase and was told that they are aware of problem with Luxfer tank? Service from store was very good, reply from manufacturer was also quick. Looking forward to how they resolve issue to reorder the bag for the Luxfer 19cf tank. It still works with minor modifications I made

Nice Product

I purchased this as a cover to protect my pony bottle during transit and handling. Very nice product for the cost. It works well with my Zeagle pony bottle mount system as well. If looking to use it as an actual Pony mount I would recomend something else.

Top Straps too short on 19CF

I wanted to use my 19cf pony for diving off NC. The XS Scuba Pony Bag is about an inch and a half short or the top straps are for the smaller tanks (i.e., too short). They do not cross the tank as shown in the picture. Because I had a trip coming up and the cost of shipping is high, I just added a Velcro wrist strap around the collar to the Velcro on the bag to further secure the tank. Additionally, the included tank straps are fine for an 80cf tank, but too short for a 100cf tank.

Having a redundant air supply in an emergency can make either a self-rescue or that of your buddy safer and easier then sharing air or octopus breathing. XS Scuba's Pony Bag utilizes your BCD cylinder straps and connects your redundant air supply to your primary diving cylinder.
