In other words, that it is inline positioned, or parallel with the main center-line of the 1st stage? I guess a layman would put it as"..after i tightened it all the way, it just sits crooked" Generally shims(thin copper or thin stainless washers) would be used to control its position when it is tightened. Is the required thread post length long enough and is that a permissible practice, to shim?ENRIQUE A : Hello Depend for what are you going to used, but I run into a the same problem but I used mine for a pony tank gauge. but what I did I file down the house end on the nut area where it meet with the gauge NOT in the INSIDE, on the edged front of the nut by doing this it will allow you to tight it hard and create a very good seal on the gauge seat or any other component.
