BRUCE L : Given the special anti-reflective coating, is it safe to use a lighter/match to burn whatever thin film has been applied on the inside aspect of the glass?Miguel L : No, it is not ideal to use a lighter or even toothpaste/scrubs on these coated lenses. Cleaning the lenses with mild soap and water is recommended on this mask.

Absolutely the BEST!!!

Divemaster with hundreds of dives and this is the ONLY mask I've ever worn that doesn't leak or have issues with fog. I have a beard too! The red tint brings color back into view at depth, it's amazing. Love this mask so much I have 2 and might still get a third to have just in case they stop making it. I didn't have to 'burn it out' (as they say) when it was new as many masks need due to silicon oils or whatever else that causes fog, I just cleaned it really well by hand and treat with anti-fog prior to each dive.

SLX HD Mask

Purchased the SLX HD Mask primarily for a snorkeling trip- based on the anti-fog and glare capability. In those two areas, the mask performance was beyond expectations. The user of the mask needs to ensure the seal is tight around the ear where the snorkel is attached- the design and additional weight may cause a slight separation allowing water to come into the mask. thus its not a 100% dry seal. Pending on the dive, this may / may not become an issue. That said for me, it did especially when putting in four to six hours at a time in the water.

Great Mask!

I LOVE this mask. I have tried so many different styles, sizes, and brands of masks finding something that truly worked well for me. I had an old TUSA mask with a nose purge that I loved but didn’t like the nose cover. This mask is exactly what I was looking for. Great fit, doesn’t leak, and works perfect. I don’t see myself needing to try another mask for quite a while! Highly recommend!

Does not fog

Well I just used this mask and it was a brand new mask so I did not clean it or use any anti fog stuff since I was in a hurry. Amazing mask, so clear not once did it fog. I was diving in very cold water easily to clear. I have always dove with SeaVision which I love but I thought I would try this.excellent mask, no leakage nice seal around the face. Very comfortable,easly to clear my ears plugging my nose.

First Mask That Didn't Leak

This is my third mask in the three months since I've been certified. I just completed my 12th dive. This is the first one that didn't leak horribly. 1st was a ScubaPro 2nd was an Atomic. I think it had to do with my facial features and not that the previous masks were "bad". I determined leakage was occurring behind my eye socket. This mask goes fairly far back on my face. I found it a little hard to squeeze my nose and actually bruised the tip of my nose.Fyi was wearing gloves. I think it can be corrected by being more careful. A little water did get in with my nose holding antics but was VERY easy to remove using the purge. Love it!
